摘要： There is described a gas flow sensor assembly for measuring gas flow rate. The gas flow sensor assembly comprises a by-pass tube for coupling to a main tube, a gas flow sensor comprising a heater and at least one temperature sensor adjacent the heater, and a control unit coupled to the at least one temperature sensor. The by-pass tube provides a by-pass passage for a flow of a portion of gas flowing in a main passage of the main tube. The gas flow sensor is positioned in relation to the by-pass tube such that in operation the heater is configured to provide heat to a portion of the by-pass passage and the at least one temperature sensor is configured to provide an output signal representing temperature in the by-pass passage sensed by the at least one temperature sensor. The control unit is configured to determine a change in temperature due to gas flow in the by-pass passage based on output signals from the at least one temperature sensor, and is configured to determine a gas flow rate based on the determined change in temperature. There is further described a semiconductor gas flow sensor, and a method of forming a semiconductor gas flow sensor.
