摘要： Systems, devices, and methods for the automated production of fermented beverages are provided. The device may be modular, portable and/or self-cleaning. The device includes a housing with chambers that receive a removable fermentation vessel with yeasts and ingredients capable of undergoing fermentation. Flavoring agents and other ingredients may also be added to produce beer, wine, or other alcoholic libations of profound character and freshness. The device includes a controller that initiates fermentation, senses the fermentation status and automatically controls fermentation parameters based on a desired fermentation profile. The controller automatically directs parameters such as carbonation, conditioning, aging, and chilling according to a programmed recipe or consumer preference to create an enjoyable customized beverage.

For example, a Plant-Wide Control System (PWCS) or a Process Control System (PCS) may be divided into three main components: hardware (including operating systems, such as a controller communicating with one or more servers of a network associated with the PWCS, (2) software (such as a control module) for performing control, and (3) one or more instrument control loops, which may be used by the software to maintain certain process values. Moreover, a Height Equivalent of a Theoretical Plate (HETP) value and an asymmetry factor may be determined based on real-time analysis on a chromatography column, using PWCS components.

摘要： A particle detector includes a housing, a light source, and a photoelectric material. The housing includes a sample inlet and a sample outlet, and encloses a detection cavity. The light source directs irradiating light along a longitudinal axis to particles of a sample fluid flowing in the detection cavity. The photoelectric material surrounds at least a portion of the detection cavity, receives measurement light propagating from the particles in a plurality of measurement light paths angled relative to the longitudinal axis. The particle detector may be utilized to measure scattered light and/or light emitted due to autofluorescence. Fluids sampled may include aerosols, bio-aerosols, and liquids.
