摘要： A low cost, multiflavor, compact, versatile, convertible beverage dispenser (10) that can be installed in any one of several different orientations so as to be able to fit in almost any available space. This dispenser can operate frontways or sideways and has a dispense module (14) that is separable from a refrigeration module (12) and that can go on top of a counter while the refrigeration module goes below. This dispenser can be used with either figals or bag-in-box and can be easily modified to dispense different numbers of beverages. When used with bag-in-box the dispenser includes built-in syrup pumps. The dispenser can also be used with a separate, additional narrower dispense module, when the built-in dispense module is too wide for a particular installation.

摘要： Apparatus for producing carbonation flavoured drinks has a number of features. Water introduced to a water break from the mains supply holds a value open whilst the carbonation chamber is being filled. A concentrate supply includes a metering chamber into which concentrate flows under gravity and from which concentrate is discharged by gas pressure. The concentrate containers include means to indicate the type of concentrate therein and the degree of carbonation of water is controlled by detecting this indication. Change-over from one gas supply bottle to another is achieved utilising the pressure of the gas in the bottle to displace an element which effects the change-over. Concentrate in supply containers thereof is cooled by coolant used from cooling the carbonation chamber.

摘要： An intelligent fountain dispenser (10) performs automated control and systems diagnostics in real time. The intelligent fountain dispenser (10) includes a controller (100) in electrical communication with a syrup valve (48), a water valve (30), a carbonator valve (24), a water level sensor (38), a flowmeter (34), and an input panel (60). The intelligent fountain dispenser also includes a dispenser housing (16) and a carbonator tank (20). Water and carbon dioxide mix in the carbonator tank to produce carbonated water. The carbonator valve supplies water to the carbonator tank in accordance with instructions received from the controller. The controller also instructs the syrup valve and the water valve in the supply of syrup and carbonated water, respectively, to the dispenser housing. The controller provides the instructions to the valves based on information received from the water level sensor, flowmeter, and input panel. The controller performs systems diagnostics by monitoring the voltage drop across current-sensing resistors (26, 32, 50) associated with each of the valves (24, 30, 48). The controller can also perform system diagnostics based on information supplied by a signature resistor (70) associated with the input panel.
