    • A lifting structure (20) for a vehicle, such as a car, comprises a support frame (10) that is adapted to contact a lower portion of the car, lifting means (50) associated with the support frame (10) and adapted to turn between an extended, or high, position (B) and a withdrawn position (A), in order to raise/lower completely the support (10) and the vehicle (100) with respect to the ground. The lifting structure (20) comprises moving wheels (31) mounted releasably to the support frame (10) and that are adapted to move it in a substantially horizontal plane. In particular, the lifting means (50) comprises reversible actuating means (51) for returning the lifting means in the withdrawn position (A) substantially in contact with the support frame (10) in order not to hamper a movement of the structure on the castor wheels (31) and achieving a configuration of minimum encumbrance in height. This way, the support (10) with the lifting means (50), in the withdrawn position (A), can be at first arranged under the vehicle without the wheels (31). Then, when the vehicle is raised to the raised position (B), the wheels (31) can be mounted on the support (10) such that the support (10) with the vehicle can be carried exclusively by the wheels (31) while the lifting means (50) can return to the withdrawn position (A).

    • The invention provides an aircraft loader for loading and unloading goods in and out of an aircraft. The aircraft loader is provided with an interface device for interfacing the loading platform with the loading level of the aircraft. The interface device has a bridge platform and retractable handrails mounted along one of the ends of the bridge platform for advantageously providing working area for the operator of the loader and the operators inside the aircraft. This protected area advantageously has a secure configuration which provides a good vision of the loader parts and aircraft bay to the loader operator while providing a safe emergency path always accessible to the operators. Advantageously, the aircraft loader allows to reach lower, main and upper decks of an aircraft while being safely operated.

    • There is provided an energy management system for managing a current flow in a machine having a lift element being vertically movable by a motor assembly. The energy management system includes a power supplying bus for supplying the motor assembly, a battery source, an energy storage device and an associated controller, and a main controller for controlling the energy-storage-device controller and thus the powering of the motor assembly, while factoring a height and a movement of the lift element. The system generally seeks to manage the energy flow between the battery, motors and supercapacitors so as to maintain the battery current as low as possible by controlling the motor's speed, to maintain the battery power demand constant over time, and to store the regenerated energy into supercapacitors in order to avoid recharging the battery during operation, as well as to maintain the supercapacitors energy level as high as possible.
