摘要： A flexible, resilient, non-woven acoustic sleeve and method of construction thereof is provided. The sleeve has an elongate nonwoven layer with opposite sides bonded to one along a lengthwise extending bonded seam, thereby forming a circumferentially enclosed inner cavity sized for receipt of an elongate member therethrough. The sleeve further includes a generally smooth inner scrim layer bonded to an inner surface of the nonwoven layer, wherein the smooth inner scrim layer forms a circumferentially continuous, smooth inner surface bounding the cavity, with the material of the inner scrim layer forming at least a portion of the bonded seam.

摘要： The present invention relates to a method for producing molded products using coffee grounds, in which coffee grounds are collected from coffee shops and then dried, fractionated, and ground, after which the thus-processed coffee grounds are mixed with purified water and a binding agent, and the resultant mixture is poured into a mold to be compression molded into various shapes, e.g. cubes. The thus-molded articles may replace existing soaps used for practicing carving so as to prevent wasted resources and environmental contamination. The method for producing molded products using coffee grounds according to the present invention enables a minimal addition of chemicals during molding so as to provide practice materials which are harmless to the human body.

摘要： A microfluidic structure comprising a thermoplastic portion (200) defining a microfluidic recess (220), a bonding layer (240) on the thermoplastic portion and a siloxane elastomer portion (252) covalently bonded to the bonding layer to seal the microfluidic recess. The microfluidic recess can therefore be formed simply, quickly and cheaply using known injection moulding techniques, which are not hampered by the need for a curing step. However the positive qualities associated with elastomers can be brought to the structure by using this to seal the microchannels. The bonding layer can be formed by silica deposited on the thermoplastic portion using techniques known in the field of optics.

摘要： Technologies are generally provided for thermostatic packaging materials for packing temperature sensitive products such as foods, beverages, biological materials, pharmaceuticals, vaccines, and live organisms. The thermostatic packaging materials may be formed from a number of substrates in which thermo-responsive capsules may be suspended. The substrates may be composed from a gelatin film substrate in some examples. The thermo-responsive capsules may encapsulate a cooling agent for reducing a surrounding environmental temperature. The thermo-responsive capsules may be composed from a polymer such as poly N-isopropylacrylamide (PNIPAAm), which may be configured to release the encapsulated cooling agents when the surrounding environmental temperature reaches a threshold temperature. The substrates including the suspended thermo-responsive capsules encapsulating a cooling agent may be layered together to form a laminate having many cooling layers to provide a staged release mechanism to continuously provide a cooling effect for packaged materials.
