    • Device (1) and method for processing one or more polymers comprising: a head member (3), an elongated body (5) comprising a hollow section and having a longitudinal axis, a plurality of holes (7) extending through at least one wall of the elongated body, and, optionally, at least one shoulder (9) parallel to the longitudinal axis. The head member may have a substantially conical shape and taper away from the at least one shoulder when present. The design of the head member/elongated body should accomplish lower pressure drop and avoid stagnant flow of the material. The number of holes that are required (affected by flow per hole requirement) will likewise affect the shape (length) to accommodate the hole count. The head member may comprise a tip and a tapered support member. The tip may have a polygon or a polyhedron shape or a pentagon or hexagon shape. The tip may have a raised surface and the raised surface may be substantially conical in shape.
