摘要： An apparatus for moving a patient from a reclining position to an upright sitting position, and methods of using same, are described. The apparatus includes an articulating patient support platform with first, second and third panels. The first panel includes opposite first and second ends and the second panel is movably attached to the first panel first end and is upwardly pivotable from a substantially co-planar relationship with the first panel to a substantially orthogonal relationship with the first panel. The third panel is secured to the second panel in spaced-apart, substantially co-planar relationship therewith. A patient is positioned on the patient support platform with the patient's upper body supported by the first and second panels and the patient's legs supported by the third panel. The second panel is caused to pivot upwardly, thereby moving the patient to a generally upright sitting position.

摘要： A trolley system configured to transport a patient within an MRI environment includes a patient support portion, a base portion configured for movement relative to a floor, a lift coupled to the patient support portion and the base portion, an electric motor coupled to the lift, and an electric blower coupled to the patient transfer device. The lift is configured to change the elevation of the patient support portion relative to the base portion. The motor is mounted such that the elevation of the motor is fixed relative to base portion. The trolley system is positionable adjacent an MRI apparatus within the MRI environment and the magnetic field of the MRI does not interfere with the operation of the motor or blower. The trolley system may further include a patient transfer device having an air bearing. The blower is configured to deliver air to the air bearing.

摘要： A weight scale for a patient lift system includes a frame assembly. A plurality of force sensors are coupled to the frame assembly. Each of the plurality of force sensors is configured to generate a signal indicative of a measured weight force. A foot rest panel, is coupled to the frame assembly. The foot rest panel is configured to support a patient. An angle sensor is operatively coupled to the frame assembly. The angle sensor is configured to generate a signal indicative of an angle of the frame assembly with respect to a horizontal reference plane. A controller is coupled in signal communication with each force sensor and the angle sensor. The controller includes one or more processors configured to receive signals from each force sensor and the angle sensor to determine an actual weight force of the patient.
