    • The present invention relates to a joint prosthesis (1 ) comprising two prosthesis components (2, 3) intended to be applied respectively to the trapezium (38) and the first metacarpal bone (39) of a thumb joint, each prosthesis component having a first or second screw-like part (4, 5) intended to be screwed firmly or be fastened to one of said bones (38 or 39) by means of bone cement, the one prosthesis component (2) having an articulating socket element (6) and the other prosthesis component (3) an articulating ball element (7). The fact that at least the prosthesis component (2) with the socket element (6) has an abutment portion (20) for abutment against the bone to which the screw-like part (4) of the prosthesis component is intended to be firmly screwed or be fastened by means of bone cement, normally the trapezium (38), prevents this prosthesis component from sinking into said bone.

    • The present invention relates to a device for fixation of bone fragments at bone fractures. With the object of preventing or counteracting redislocation, the device comprises at least two fixation means (5, 6), a securing plate (4) and at least one securing means (23) for the fixation means, each fixation means (5, 6) has a first fixing portion (19) for fixing the fixation means in an inner bone fragment (3), a second fixing portion (21) which serves in conjunction with the securing means (23) for locking the fixation means in a hole (9) which runs through the securing plate (4) disposed on the outside of an outer bone fragment (2) and allowing movement of the outer bone fragment relative to it, so that the fixation means are prevented from changing their angular position relative to the securing plate and relative to one another, and a middle portion (22) which is situated between the fixing portions (19, 21) and runs through the outer bone fragment (2), along which middle portion the outer bone fragment can slide inwards towards the inner bone fragment (3) in which the fixation means is fixed, and the securing means (23) has an external thread for screwing it firmly into a hole (9) in the securing plate (4).

    • A prosthesis for primary artrodhesis can be used for artroplasty and a prosthesis for artro- plasty comprises members for artrodhesis. The prosthesis (1 b) for primary artrodhesis comprises a locking member (33b) with an attachment portion (16b) which is insertable into a hole (8b) in a first attachment member (4b) of the prosthesis for location of the locking member therein, and a lockable member (34b) integral with a second attachment member (5b) of the prosthesis. The lockable member (34b) is configured for adjustable setting thereof relative to the locking member (33b) and for fixation thereof, in set position, to the locking member. Alternatively, the lockable member comprises an attachment portion which is insertable into a hole in the second attachment member for location of the lockable member therein. At the prosthesis for artroplasty, the hole in the first screw-like attachment member is partly configured to define a press fit with an attachment pin of a socket member and partly threaded to permit, after removal of the socket member, during artrodhesis, securing by screwing in the hole of the locking member for cooperation with a lockable member which is configured for adjustable setting thereof relative to the locking member and for fixation thereof, in set position, to the locking member.

    • A prosthesis (1) for reconstruction of a distal radioulnar joint after resection of a part of the ulna close to a distal end portion (U1) thereof, comprises a first prosthesis member (2), fixation means (3) and a second prosthesis member (4).     • The present invention relates to a joint prosthesis, comprising two prosthesis members (2, 3) which are adapted to be positioned at different bones (39; 41, 42) at a joint (38), wherein each prosthesis member (2, 3) includes a first and a second screw-like member (4, 5) respectively, which are adapted to be screwed onto the respective bone (39; 41, 42). One prosthesis member (2) includes a member (6) having a socket and the other prosthesis member (3) a member (7) having a head, whereby the socket member (6) has a mounting pin (22) which is insertable into a first hole (10) in the first screw-like member (4) for positioning or locating the socket member (6) thereto and whereby the head member (7) has a mounting pin (27) which is insertable into a first hole (11) in the second screw-like member (5) for positioning or locating said head member (7) thereto. In the first as well as in the second screw-like member (4, 5) there is provided at least one inner second hole (30 and 33 respectively) which is designed to permit insertion thereinto of a rod (31) of a screw tool (32) in order to secure by screwing the first and second screw-like member (4, 5) respectively, at the respective bone (39; 41, 42). The second hole (30 and 33 respectively) is provided in a bottom (17 and 19 respectively) of the first hole (10 and 11 respectively).
