摘要： A system, apparatus, and method are provided for using a PCB component as an antenna to allow for RFID communication in the UHF band. The present invention enables supply chain management of a PCB and products containing the PCB by enabling tracking of a PCB at the assembly level such that at each production stage of the board production it is known exactly where the product is and what is its present state of test. One embodiment uses an existing ground plane of a PCB, splitting the ground plane of all the layers of the PCB, allowing for a dipole structure that provides an adequate received energy level to power the circuit to the "on" state thereby allowing RFID/Electronic Product Code transactions. In alternative embodiments, existing or added traces are used in place of the split ground plane as an antenna for the RFID IC. The supply chain management can employ a dedicated RFID interrogator that is connected to an IT network and allows for bill of materials to be fulfilled in an automated fashion throughout the assembly of the PCB. The manufacturer of the end product can also use the RFID IC in an own end product item level supply management system that includes inventory, shipments, and returns.

The main analyzer is configured to sense an analyte in a body fluid obtained from a patient through a first fluid passageway extending from the main analyzer. 摘要： A method of analyzing bodily fluids from a patient at the point of care for the patient is provided The method comprises establishing fluid communication between an analyte detection system and a bodily fluid in the patient. A portion of the bodily fluid is drawn from the patient. The analyte detection system analyzes the bodily fluid to measuie a concentration of an analyte. A test is performed on the analyte detection system according to a predetermined schedule to determine if the analyte detection system is properly calibrated. To perform the test a sample of a quality control solution is drawn into the analyte detection system and measured. The test results are compared to a reference range for the quality control solutions. If the measurements are within the reference range, the analyte detection system is permitted to resume analyzing the bodily fluids of the patient.

摘要： An embodiment of an analyte detection system includes a fluid transport network having a patient end configured to provide fluid communication with a body fluid in a patient. The system may include a body fluid analyzer, accessible via the fluid transport network, configured to measure a level of an analyte of interest in the body fluid. A pump unit having a sample input mode and an infusion mode may be coupled to the fluid transport network. The system also includes a user interface for communication with the body fluid analyzer. The user interface may include an input element configured to accept user input corresponding to a patient health event. In some embodiments, the patient health event includes a patient health action or information relevant to clinical interpretation of data pertaining to measured analyte levels. The user interface may include a trend display portion that includes a trend indicator, which depicts a trend in determined levels of the analyte of interest. The trend display portion may also include at least one of a high-level indicator corresponding to a relatively high level of the analyte and a low-level indicator corresponding to a relatively low level of the analyte.
