摘要： Containers (10) for automatic injectors and automatic injectors adapted for those containers are disclosed. The containers include structures adapted to retain and, optionally, cripple the needle of the automatic injector when the automatic injector is inserted into the container after use. Depending on the embodiment, an indicator (80) may be included, either as part of the container or as part of the automatic injector, to indicate whether or not the automatic injector has been used. If the indicator is provided as a part of the automatic injector, a corresponding portion of the container may be formed of a light permeable material. The container may also include features, such as an eyelet over the closed end, designed to cushion the automatic injector. Cushioning and shock absorbing features may also be provided inside the container. A clip is also disclosed. The clip is designed to attach two or more containers together.

摘要： An automatic medicament injector having a compartment for a dry medicament component and a compartment for a wet medicament component. The two compartments are separated by a seal structure that has a plug that is moved from a sealing position into a mixing position when the device is activated. The seal structure includes a wiper that scrapes the interior walls in the dry component compartment to prevent the dry component from accumulating at the seal/glass interface. A tapered insert "funnels" the mixed medicament components to an attached needle assembly, but can be removed when the device is filled. A filter is provided between the medicament compartments and the needle assembly. A chamber between the filter and the needle assembly allows for better flow through the filter. An actuation assembly drives the plug into the mixing position and forces the mixed medicament through the needle and into the user.

The automatic injection device includes a housing assembly having an interior chamber, a filter assembly, an activation assembly and a needle assembly. In accordance with the present invention, the interior chamber may include a dry compartment for storing a predetermined dry charge of dry medicament therein, and a wet compartment for storing a predetermined amount of liquid injection solution therein. The filter assembly enhances the laminar flow of fluid between the wet compartment to the dry compartment prior to the pressurization of the liquid injection solution within the wet compartment.

摘要： The present invention is directed to an automatic injection device containing a pre-loaded charge of medicament for automatically self-administering the medicament upon actuation thereof. The automatic injection device includes a housing assembly having an interior chamber, an activation assembly and a needle assembly for dispensing a dissolved medicament to a user. A dry compartment for storing a predetermined dry charge of dry medicament is located within the interior chamber. A wet compartment for storing a predetermined amount of liquid injection solution is also located within the interior chamber. A separation assembly separates the dry compartment from the wet compartment. The separation assembly prevents transfer of the liquid injection solution from the wet compartment to the dry compartment prior to activation of the automatic injection device. One or more medicament support assemblies located within the dry compartment prevent the passage of undissolved medicament from the dry compartment.

摘要： A container for an automatic injector provides safe, quick, and easy access to an automatic injector stored therein. The container includes tactile features that allow a user to easily determine the orientation of the container by feel alone. A hinged cap with an automatic spring assist feature allows a user to single-handedly open the container quickly and easily to remove the injector from the container without interference from the cap. The container is structured to receive the automatic injector needle end first and has a puncture resistant bottom to prevent the needle of the injector from piercing through the body wall of the container. The container also provides safe storage of a discharged automatic injector, with the hinged cap spring assist feature automatically closing the cap enough to prevent the discharged injector from falling out of the container.

摘要： A resettable training device and method for training a user on the operation of an auto-injector for dispensing a medicament are provided. The user can operate the training device to simulate an auto-injector operation and then reset the training device to repeat the injector operation. The training device includes a housing, a cover member slidably received within the housing between a retracted operative position and an extended inoperative position, a spring member for biasing the cover member into the extended position, an actuation assembly that controls the movement of the cover member from the retracted position to the extended position in response to activation of the trainer by the user, a safety pin, and in some embodiments at least one releasable locking assembly to prevent movement of the cover member from the extended position to the retracted position.
