摘要： A tamper-evident closure assembly (100) includes a connector (110), a tamper element (120) removably affixed to the connector, and a cap (150) having an interior surface defining a receptacle (154), where a portion of the connector is within the receptacle and the cap is configured to engage with the tamper element. The tamper element is configured to be separated from the connector upon application of a removal force and to be retained within the receptacle of the cap so that it can later be removed from the receptacle. A kit for a tamper-evident closure assembly includes a cap having an interior surface defining a receptacle, a tamper element configured to engage with the cap within the receptacle, and a housing configured to receive the cap.

摘要： A drug delivery device or patch-like delivery device which employs a spring force and an inclined surface to apply pressure on a fluid reservoir, thereby delivering medicament to a user's body. The slope of the inclined surface may be engineered to control the drug delivery rate. The device may be low profile and wearable, for example in the form of a patch. A visual indicator of the amount of medicament delivered or remaining may be incorporated, for example via a transparent window that shows the progression of an inclined surface as it presses on the reservoir. The device may incorporate mechanisms for automatic extension and retraction of a cannula at the beginning and end of drug delivery. Drug delivery rate may be limited with flow restrictors, and by using a two-reservoir system with a viscous liquid displacing a reservoir containing the medicament.

摘要： A drug delivery device includes a housing defining a shell, a drug delivery assembly at least partially disposed within the housing, a cap defining an opening and being adapted to at least partially cover an end of the housing, at least one electronic component, a power source which powers the electronic component, and a switch assembly. The drug delivery assembly comprises a guard which engages an inner surface of the housing and is movable between a first, a second, and a third position relative to the housing and are adapted to restrict external contact with a cannula. The switch assembly causes the power source to provide power to the electronic component when the cap is removed from the housing, restrict the power source from providing power when the cap is coupled to the housing and the guard is in the first position, and cause the power source to provide power when the cap is coupled to the housing and the guard is in the third position.
