摘要： A prosthetic patellar implant (100) has a posterior articulation surface (108) and an anterior attachment surface (104). The anterior attachment surface has a medial attachment surface (132) and a lateral attachment surface (134). The medial and lateral attachment surfaces can be planar and angled relative to one another, meeting at an intersection medially offset from the sagittal centerline of the implant. The attachment surfaces can include convexities (254, 256). The anterior attachment surface can have one or more pegs (138) and/or recesses (242, 244). Instrumentation for preparation of a bone includes a first guide (600) having a first collet ( 610) and a second collet for guiding a bone preparation instrument toward the bone. The first and second collets are formed around divergent first (611) and second (613) axes, and share a common opening. A second guide (850) may be carried in the first guide, and another bone preparation instrument inserted through the second guide toward the bone, along a third axis.

摘要： A line lock system may include a line routed through a plate. The plate (11) may have an elongated body with a plurality of passageways (14). The line is routed to form at least one one-way slide so no knots are required. The system may include filaments routed through the passageways of the plate or around a dogbone feature of the plate. The filaments may be used to toggle the plate after passage through a hole to prevent withdrawal of the plate back through the hole. The system may include a line lock stabilizer (100, 200, 318) or counter- tension tool to stabilize the line lock as the line is adjusted., a compression limiter (150,160,316) to selectively reduce compression in the one-way slide to facilitate adjustment of the line, means for adjusting the line (320), or a line cutter (678).

摘要： Systems for interbody fusion of adjacent bone portions may include an expanding implant (100) and related instruments. An expanding implant may be formed as a linkage which is movable between a compact configuration and an expanded configuration. A shaft (110) of the implant may increase and decrease in length to move between the compact and expanded configurations, and an implant width perpendicular to the length may be increased in the expanded configuration. The implant width may increase more in a first direction than a second direction opposite the first direction. An inserter instrument may releasably grasp the spacer and transform the implant between the compact and expanded configurations.

摘要： A line lock system may include a line (24) routed through a plate (11). The plate may have an elongated body with a plurality of passageways (14a- 14d). 摘要： A surgical instrument (700) and method are provided for removal of a spinal implant (170) from the intervertebral disc space. The instrument (700) includes a carriage body (710) for interfacing with the implant (170), a housing (740) for interfacing with the vertebrae, and a handle portion (770) having a first portion (772) rotatably coupled with a proximal end (744) of the housing (740) and a second portion (774) rotatably engageable with a proximal attachment portion (714) of the carriage body (710). A central passage (746) of the housing (740) extends between the proximal end (744) and a distal engagement surface (742) of the housing (740). The central passage (746) is dimensioned to mate with the carriage body (710). Rotation of the handle portion (770) about an axis causes translational movement of the carriage body (710) along the axis. A modular inserter/distractor apparatus (200) and method and an anchor remover (400) and method are also provided.

The implants, systems and methods may include a first bone engaging implant configured to couple to a first bone, and a second bone engaging implant configured to couple to a second bone that is adjacent the first bone. The implants, systems and methods may further include a flexible cable member extending between the first and second implants that allows motion between the first and second implants but for movement of the first and second implants away from each other.
