摘要： Embodiments of a composition useful for forming cellulosic products are disclosed, as well as products made using disclosed compositions. One disclosed composition comprises effective amount of dihydroxyethylene urea(s), dihydroxypropanol ureas, glycoluril(s), or combinations thereof. Such compositions can be cross linked, or not. The compositions can include other materials, such as methylol melamine; maltodextrin, where the DE of the maltodextrin can vary from about 4 to about 25, optional auxiliary additives, including a surfactant; a trialkanolamine, a preservative, a fire retardant; an aesthetic material, such as a dye that, in certain embodiments, substantially completely penetrates the cross section of the board product; a hardness enhancer; and any and all combinations of such materials. One embodiment of a disclosed method for making a cellulosic product comprises first providing a disclosed composition and applying it to cellulosic material, such as by substantially immersing cellulosic material in desired compositions in an autoclave.

摘要： A method of drying comprises placing a moist material inside a substantially enclosed solar greenhouse. The greenhouse comprises at least one light transmission roof and/or wall panel that is substantially transparent to solar radiation, but resistant to convective and conductive heat transfer. The interior temperature and humidity of the greenhouse are maintained within their pre-determined ranges while the interior moisture of the greenhouse is effectively reduced to allow a controlled drying of the material. A solar greenhouse for the drying process is also disclosed.

A description of artifacts and services associated with an original version of a process is received. Component automata represent the artifacts and services that are automatically generated. There is one component automaton for each attribute of an artifact. States of a particular component automaton represents potential values of a particular attribute and transitions between the states represent services that operate on the values. A non-deterministic model of the process is generated by automatically generating a composite automaton, which includes the component automata, based on the received goal. The composite automaton provides the non-deterministic model of the process.

摘要： A system and process for automatically characterizing a plurality of external cavity semiconductor laser chips on a semiconductor laser bar separated from a semiconductor wafer. The system includes a diffraction grating mounted on a rotary stage for rotating the diffraction grating through a range of diffraction angles; a steering mirror mounted on the rotary stage and oriented perpendicular to a surface of the diffraction grating; and a laser analyzer; and a laser bar positioning stage. The positioning stage is automatically moved to aligning each laser chip in a laser bar on the stage, one chip at a time, with the diffraction grating, such that a part of the laser beam emitted from a laser chip in a laser bar is reflected back to the same laser chip by the 1 st order diffraction of the grating to lock the lasing wavelength and the rest of the laser beam reflected by the steering mirror is received and characterized by the laser analyzer. For each laser ship, the rotary stage is automatically rotated to rotate the diffraction grating through a range of diffraction angles relative the laser beam emitted by the laser chip, and the laser analyzer automatically characterizes the laser optical properties such as spectra, power, or spatial modes at each diffraction angle.

摘要： Provided herein are methods of treating a cancer in a subject comprising administering a F0XP3 protein, a nucleic acid encoding a F0XP3 protein, or an inducing compound which induces FOXP3 protein expression. Methods of altering a phenotype of a cancer cell or tumor cell, methods of inhibiting growth of such cells, and methods of inducing apoptosis of these cells are also provided herein. These methods comprise contacting the cell with a F0XP3 protein, a nucleic acid encoding a F0XP3 protein, or an inducing compound which induces F0XP3 protein expression. Further provided herein are diagnostic methods, comprising comparing the expression or structure of a F0XP3 protein or F0XP3 gene in a test sample to that of a normal or prior sample. A method of screeing a test compound for anti-cancer activity comprising administering to cells the test compound and measuring F0XP3 protein or F0XP3 gene expression is moreover provided herein.
