    • Provided in the embodiments of the present invention are an automatic bacteria identification apparatus and method, an automatic detection device, and a urine analyzer. The automatic bacteria identification apparatus comprises: a detection unit for detecting a region part that may contain bacteria in an input image, so as to generate an output image containing said region part; and a classification unit for extracting a feature from the region part detected by said detection unit and identifying whether said region part is bacteria based on said feature, wherein said feature is at least one of the area, area ratio, annularity, aspect ratio, contrast and texture complexity of said region part. By means of the automatic bacteria identification apparatus and method according to the embodiments of the present invention, bacteria can be identified automatically from an input image, thereby obtaining a solution that is effective in aspects of accuracy, cost and time.
