    • A method and a system for accessing a channel in a vehicular communication network are provided, where successive cycles each of which includes N time slots are defined in the channel. The method may include: a first communication device mounted on a first node receiving a channel allocation advertisement message from a second communication device mounted on a second node, where the channel allocation advertisement message includes information of how a communication area is divided into M regions and a mapping between the M regions and the N time slots; the first communication device determining in which region the first node is located based on the position of the first node and the information; the first communication device identifying a time slot based on the determined region and the mapping; and the first communication device competing for the identified time slot.

    • The present invention proposes a method for forwarding packets via a group of adjacent and cooperative network elements in a packet network and a network element for managing the binding information of a mobile node, wherein a mobile node having moved from a first position to a second position and a correspondent node communicate with each other via said group of network elements, said first position and said second position are respectively in the home subnet and a foreign subnet of said mobile node, each of said network elements has both its own address and a specific address of said group which it affiliates to, and comprises a table for storing binding information which is shared among the network elements in said group, said method for forwarding packets comprising: when a network element of said group receives a packet from said correspondent node, the network element will look up the table for the address of the network element currently serving said mobile node; said network element forwards said packet to the network element currently serving said mobile node; and when the network element currently serving said mobile node receives said packet, it looks up the table and forwards said packet directly to said mobile node.

    • Method for connecting a first electronic device to internet through another electronic device and first electronic devices are provided. The method includes: the first electronic device broadcasting an acoustic signal which carries configuration information for configuring access point, where the configuration information includes an access point identifier, where the configuration information can be extracted from the acoustic signal by another electronic device that receives the acoustic signal and can be used to configure the electronic device as an access point;when an access point having the identifier is detected by the first electronic device, sending to the access point a request for connecting to it to access internet service;and connecting to internet through the access point after a notice of permission is received from the access point. The first electronic device connects to internet through another electronic device conveniently without configuring an access point and inputting a password manually.

    • A method for communicating messages in a channel of a wireless communication network is provided. In the channel, successive cycles, each of which including a predetermined number of successive time slots, are defined. The method may include: a first node obtaining a first list of its neighboring nodes before a first q th time slot; broadcasting a first message in the first q th time slot; receiving acknowledge information from other nodes within the network for one cycle after the first q th time slot; obtaining a second list of its neighboring nodes after the first q th time slot; and determining whether q th time slots are proper for communicating messages by the first node by checking whether all nodes on both the first and the second lists have received the first message based on the received acknowledge information, each piece of which indicates whether a corresponding node has received the first message.
