摘要： A method and apparatus for high-resolution 3D imaging ladar system which can penetrate foliage and camouflage to sample fragments of concealed surfaces of interest is disclosed. Samples collected while the ladar moves can be integrated into a coherent object shape. In one embodiment, a system and method for automatic data-driven registration of ladar frames, comprises a coarse search stage, a pairwise fine registration stage using an iterated closest points algorithm, and a multi-view registration strategy. After alignment and aggregation, it is often difficult for human observers to find, assess and recognize objects from a point cloud display. Basic display manipulations, surface fitting techniques, and clutter suppression to enhance visual exploitation of 3D imaging ladar data may be utilized.

摘要： According to an aspect of the invention, a system for providing immersive surveillance a site has a plurality of cameras each producing a respective raw video of a respective portion of the site. A processing component receives the raw video from the cameras and generates processed video from it. A visualization engine is coupled to the processing system, and receives the processed video therefrom. The visualization engine renders real-time images corresponding to a view of the site in which at least a portion of the processed video is overlaid onto a rendering of an image based on a computer model of the site. The visualization engine displays the images in real time to a viewer. The processing component comprises first and second filter modules. The second filter module processes video received as output from the first filter module. A controller component controls all transmission of data and video between the first and second filter modules.

A managing component is connected with the network and communicates with the sensors by access thereof through the associated network address on the network, and processes sensor information received from said sensors. The managing component has a display with an interface screen showing to a user all the sensors in the security system, and an input device through which the user can enter interactive instructions to the managing component. 摘要： In an immersive surveillance system, videos or other data from a large number of cameras and other sensors is managed and displayed by a video processing system overlaying the data within a rendered 2D or 3D model of a scene. The system has a viewpoint selector configured to allow a user to selectively identify a viewpoint from which to view the site. A video control system receives data identifying the viewpoint and based on the viewpoint automatically selects a subset of the plurality of cameras that is generating video relevant to the view from the viewpoint, and causes video from the subset of cameras to be transmitted to the video processing system. As the viewpoint changes, the cameras communicating with the video processor are changed to hand off to cameras generating relevant video to the new position. Playback in the immersive environment is provided by synchronization of time stamped recordings of video. Navigation of the viewpoint on constrained paths in the model or map-based navigation is also provided.
