    • The present invention relates to an array antenna arrangement (9) comprising at least two antenna sub-arrays and at least one antenna element (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6) in each antenna sub-array. The array antenna arrangement (9) is adapted for calculation of a total covariance matrix (R) of a received signal vector (x). The array antenna arrangement (9) further comprises at least one switch (10, 11), where the number of switches corresponds to the number of antenna elements in each antenna sub-array. Each switch (10, 11) is connected to a respective radio chain (12, 13), and is arranged to connect the antenna elements of a respective corresponding antenna sub-array to the respective radio chain (10, 11) cyclically. At least one full switch cycle, comprising a set of received signals for each switch configuration, is carried out for a calculation of the total covariance matrix (R). The present invention also relates to a corresponding method.

    • The present invention relates to a method and device for compensation of received signal components at a user equipment (1) (UE) used for receiving signal components from a radio base station (4) (RBS). The signal components have at least a first and a second polarization orientation, respectively. The intended reception of the signal component (8) (y h (n)) having the first polarization deviates from the polarization orientation of the transmitted signal component (6) (X h (n)) having the first polarization by a first angle (φ), and the intended reception of the signal component (9) (y v (n)) having the second polarization deviates from the polarization orientation of the transmitted signal component (7) (x v (n)) having the second polarization by a second angle (β).     • Methods and units of composing or decomposing a multimedia signal according to e.g. the Musical Instrument Digital Interface (MIDI) protocol where the signal is composed to carry events of a first type which are arranged to carry instructions to a unit of which of predefined patches to use for playback and which of predefined notes to play; and events of a second type which are identifiable separately from events of the first type and which are arranged to carry additional content. The method of decomposing a multimedia signal comprises the step of parsing the signal to identify events of the second type and to read the additional content; loading coded samples of multimedia content at an address specified in the additional content; and decoding the coded samples to provide decoded samples for playback of the multimedia content. Thereby, it is possible to convey vocal song or vocals and other audio type signals in an efficient way by means of the widely used MIDI protocol.
