摘要： A connector assembly for mating with a power distribution module is provided. The connector assembly includes a header connector assembly and a fuse connector assembly. The header assembly is configured to mount to the power distribution module and includes contacts connected to a power supply circuit within the power distribution module. The fuse connector assembly (102) is configured to mate with the header assembly. The fuse connector assembly (102) includes a fuse subassembly (236) including an insert body (238) configured to hold a fuse (250) and conductive terminals (240, 242), the conductive terminals (240, 242) are mounted to the insert body (238) and configured to electrically couple with the fuse (250) to establish a fused conductive pathway. The fuse subassembly (236) mates with the contacts in the header assembly to electrically couple the fused conductive pathway with the power supply circuit of the power distribution module.

The outer housing has a cavity (152) at the mating end and a flange (164) configured to be mounted to a panel of a device. The cavity is configured to be exposed to an exterior of the device for mating with a plug assembly. A shield (154) is received in the cavity (152) that has a front (170) and a rear (172). An inner housing (156) is received in the cavity with the shield surrounding at least a portion of the inner housing. The inner housing has a front and a rear and has latches (190) engaging the front of the shield. The latches allow the inner housing to be released from the shield to remove the inner housing from the cavity.

摘要： An in-line fused connector (102) includes an outer housing (106) and a fuse subassembly (210) disposed in the outer housing. The fuse subassembly (210) includes a mating terminal (206) that is configured to engage a first conductive body of a power distribution module and an internal terminal coupled with a fused conductor that electrically couples with an electronic device. The mating terminal (206) and the internal terminal are shaped to receive a fuse (212) to electrically couple the mating terminal (206) and the internal terminal. Electric current that is supplied by the power distribution module is conveyed through the fuse subassembly (210) when the fuse subassembly receives the fuse (212) and the mating terminal (206) of the fuse subassembly (210) mates with the first conductive body of the power distribution module through an opening (200) in a front end (108) of the housing (106). The fuse (212) is removable from the fuse subassembly (210) through the front end.
