    • The invention relates to a method and a corresponding device for optimising the current consumption of a data processing device. In order to control the operating states of the components of the data processing device in an optimum manner, and especially to prevent the time up to the deactivation of components from being either too short or too long, the inventive method comprises the following steps: a) operating parameters of hardware and software components of the data processing device are detected, b) aperiodically occurring events influencing the operating state of hardware and/or software components are detected, c) the current scenario of use of the data processing device is estimated by evaluating a quantity of rules containing a plurality of rules, on the basis of the detected operating paramaters and events, the evaluation of the rules enabling probabilites for the presence of pre-determined scenarios of use to be established on the basis of operating parameters and/or events, and d) the operating states of the components of the data processing device are controlled on the basis of the estimated current scenarios of use.

    • The invention relates to an audiological measuring instrument for generating acoustic test signals for audiological measurements. Said measuring instrument comprises: - a room loudspeaker arrangement (1, 2) for supplying at least two acoustic signals in at least two measurement positions encompassing a first measurement position (M1) and a second measurement position (M2); - a means (4) for generating control signals (S1, S2) that can be converted into a first acoustic signal and a second acoustic signal.
