    • The present invention relates to a vehicle braking arrangement (6) comprising a braking plate (7) connected to a vehicle (1) by a link arrangement (8). The braking plate (7) is movable from a rest position to a braking position where contact is made with the ground (4), and comprises a sealing rim (9) arranged to at least partially contact the ground (4) such that an at least partly enclosed volume (10) is formed. The vehicle braking arrangement (6) comprises a low pressure container (11) connected to the volume (10) via a valve assembly (12). Air pressure in the low pressure container (11) is below the air pressure of ambient air in the braking plate's rest position. The valve assembly (12) is arranged to be opened when the braking plate (7) is in the braking position such that the pressure is lowered in the volume (10) and the braking plate (7) is pressed against the ground (4) by a conferred pressure difference between air outside the volume (10) and air in the volume (10).

    • A vehicle seat has a moveable back (5) where the back may be folded from an upright position to a folded position in which the back overlies the squab (4) of the seat. The vehicle seat has a buckle (9) and when the seat back is in the upright position the buckle is in an operative position, extending up and out from between the squab and the back, so that a user may attach a tongue on a safety belt to the buckle. The buckle (9) is movable and resiliently biased (10) towards a storage position. When the seat back is folded forwardly an element (11) on the seat back contacts the buckle and releases the buckle which then moves to the storage position under the bias to prevent the buckle form being crushed between the squab and the back as the back is folded. This prevents damage occurring to the upholstery of the seat or damage to the buckle. The user may then return the back to the upright position, and as the user does so, the element engages the buckle and moves the buckle from the storage position to the operative position.
