    • The prevent invention relates to an optical coupling device which comprises: an incidence part on which a ray of light emitted from a subject has a fixed angle of incidence; an emitting part which receives the ray from the incidence part and emits the ray at a fixed angle; and a connection part which transmits the ray on the incidence part to the emitting part so that the ray, which is emitted from the subject and is incident on the incidence part, may be transmitted to an observer of the subject by matching the angle of the ray with the fixed angle. Therefore, the objective of the present invention is to enable the observer to see an opaque object as a transparent object in the visible light spectrum or display the subject realistically through the emitting part.

    • This invention relates to a system for controlling the motion of a set of stereoscopic cameras. The system comprises a set of display devices (4510, 4520), an indicator controller (3920), a computing device (4510 or 4520), a transmitter (4530 or 4540) and a receiver (4550 or 4560) and a camera controller (4580 or 4590). The set of display devices (4510, 4520) displays at least one stereoscopic image, the stereoscopic image comprising a pair of two-dimensional plane images. The indicator controller (3920) controls movement of at least one input device indicator being displayed on the two-dimensional plane images, the at least one input device indicator being configured to move to a target location on the two-dimensional plane images. The computing device (4510 or 4520) determines a location value for the target location of the at least one indicator. The transmitter (4530 or 4540) transmits the determined location value to a set of stereoscopic cameras (30, 32). The receiver (4550 or 4560) receives the location value. The camera controller (4580 or 4590) controls the motion of the stereoscopic cameras (30, 32) based on the received location value.

    • The present invention provides a novel imaging system for obtaining full stereoscopic spherical images of the visual environment surrounding a viewer, 360 degree both horizontally and vertically. Displaying the images obtained by the present system, by means suitable for stereoscopic displaying, gives the viewers the ability to look everywhere around them, as well as up and down, while having stereoscopic depth perception of the images displayed images.The system according to the present invention comprises an array of cameras, wherein the lenses of said cameras are situated on a curved surface, pointing out from common centers of said curved surface.The captured images of said system are arranged and processed to create sets of stereoscopic image pairs, wherein one image of each pair is designated for the observer right eye and the second image to his left eye, thus creating a three dimensional perception.

    • In order to pictorially depict three-dimensional objects, an object to be depicted (28) is photographed using at least one camera (24) from a number of camera directions of said camera(s) (24) in relation to the object (28) to be depicted. Two-dimensional image data of each camera direction is saved, together with the corresponding co-ordinates of the camera(s) (24) in relation to the object (28) to be depicted. The saved image data is reproduced from the perspective view to create a three-dimensional impression, by merging the two-dimensional image data whilst taking into account the corresponding co-ordinates. In order to fill in the image background behind the object to be depicted, a background surface is provided which has a substantially constant colour spectrum in the colour space. Said colour location is preferably luminescent (electroluminescent film).
