摘要： Asynchronous, triple redundant primary flight computers (PFC's) (12, 14, 16) produce output command signals carried over data buses (18) to control redundant actuators (32, 34, 36) in an aircraft flight control system. To prevent the transmission of a fault and a force fight among the redundant actuators, which drive a common aircraft control surface (50), a databus voter (52, 54, 56) associated with each PFC receives all PFC commands and, in accordance with a selection algorithm, outputs a voted one of the PFC command signals. A databus voter monitor (144), associated with each databus voter, deactivates its associated databus voter if it detects a voted command signal which is inconsistent with the selection algorithm.

The mechanical lock (104) includes an electrically operated solenoid (124) which moves a locking pin (120) between an unlocked position and a locked position. When the pin (120) is in the locked position, it engages a toothed wheel (114) which is mounted about a shaft (110) which engages a drive gear (90) for the thrust reverser actuator (54). In this manner, movement of the thrust reverser sleeve (28) is prevented until commanded operation of the thrust reverser whereby the locking pin (120) is moved to the unlocked position.

The LED comprises a layered semiconductor structure having a quantum well active layer characterized by a confinement factor, and by a gain versus current density function that includes a gain saturation region. The optical cavity is characterized by a threshold gain required to produce lasing, the threshold gain being greater than the gain in the gain saturation region. 摘要： Solar cells (12, 14, 16), particularly GaAs/GaSb tandem solar cells, are mechanically and electrically connected in the form of a string using a flexible circuit tape (48) and mounted in optical alignment with solar energy concentrators (22, 24) in a module (10). A head spreader body (46) is attached to each cell unit as part of a heat sink and the cells are precisely positioned to provide optical alignment. The flexible circuit tape (48) is formed by conductive strips (50, 52, 54) sandwiched between layers of polymer dielectric tape and provided with tabs (62, 64, 66, 68) at predefined holes in the tape for bonding to current carrying surfaces of concentrated sunlight tandem solar cell units.
