    • Photovoltaic converter (PhVC) comprising at least one photovoltaic cell, each of which has placed in series transparent dielectric layer, semiconductor layer having p-n or n-p junction, and transparent dielectric substrate, those refraction indexes are respectively n 1 , n 2 , n 3 ; and at least 2f pairs of (+) and (-) discrete contact electrodes, connected to the p- and n- regions of each semiconductor layer, where f is number of the photovoltaic cells in the PhVC. In first PhVC's embodiment said refraction indexes are conformed to the pair of inequalities either n 2 1 and n 2 3 , or n 2 >n 1 and n 2 3 , and thickness of semiconductor layer is multiple to the value kλ/(2n 2 ) . In the second PhVC's embodiment refraction indexes are conformed to the pair of inequalities either n 1 , n 2 , n 3 or n 1 , n 2 , n 3 , and thickness of semiconductor layer is equal to the value λ/(4/n 2 )+mλ/(2n 2 ). Here λ is average wavelength within selected sub-band of the solar spectrum, k is 1, 2, etc., m is 0, 1, 2, etc. Third PhVC's embodiment is combination of two said embodiments. SOLAR BATTERY contains at least one at least two-junction PhVC and current collectors, to which said discrete contact electrodes are connected in parallel.
