    • A master cylinder arrangement (10) for a hydraulic vehicle brake system has a housing (14) and a bore (16) located therein, said bore being configured along an axis (A). At least one filling chamber (18) and a first pressure chamber (22) are delimited in the bore. A filling piston (38) and a first pressure piston (40) connected thereto displace fluid from the filling chamber (18) to the admission side of a hydraulic pump (60), whose pressure side feeds pumped fluid into a first brake circuit (64); and from the first pressure chamber (22) into the first brake circuit (64). The filling piston (38) and the first pressure piston (40) can be moved in relation to each other along axis (A), about a limited mass (s), in order to produce the desired, so-called "snap-in effect". The filling piston (38) and the first pressure piston (40) are also elastically pre-stressed in relation to each other in such a way that they are forced apart. Once both pistons (38, 40) have been moved in relation to each other about the mass (s), against the elastic force forcing them apart, the filling piston (38) rigidly couples with the first pressure piston (40).

    • The invention relates to a brake pressure transducer for a hydraulic vehicle brake system which can be actuated by initiating an actuating force (FB) via an actuating element (2) in order to generate brake pressure for at least one wheel brake (3) by reducing the volume of a hydraulic chamber (4). Said brake pressure transducer is equipped with a brake booster (13) in order to superimpose a primary booster force (FS1) on the initiated actuating force (FB). The aim of the invention is to provide a brake pressure transducer which is more compact, can be produced at a lower cost, and which can be actuated more comfortably. To this end, an additional hydraulic chamber (6) is provided whose volume is likewise reduced when the actuating force (FB) is initiated. In addition, a pump (10, 10') is arranged between the output of the additional hydraulic chamber (6) and the at least one wheel brake (3). Said pump delivers in the direction from the additional hydraulic chamber (6) to the at least one wheel brake (3). The output (10a) of the pump (10, 10') is connected to the output of the hydraulic chamber (4) in order to superimpose a secondary booster force (FS2) on the initiated actuating force (FB) and/or on the primary booster force (FS1) so that the brake pressure is increased for the at least one wheel brake (3).
