摘要： The present invention relates to a method for dispensing a liquid to fill a container (4) up to a predetermined liquid level. The invention also refers to a dispenser capable of achieving such a method. A method for dispensing a liquid (2, 22) in a container (4) according to the invention is characterized by a combination of the following steps: (a) place a container (4) beneath an outlet (6, 26a, 26b ) of at least one fluid dispensing conduit (3, 23a, 23b); (b) arrange a pair of electrodes (9, 13, 9a, 13a, 29, 213) in a position where they are adapted to face the this liquid (2), electrically isolated from the same, (c) starting the flow of liquid through the the conduit (3); (d) measuring the effective impedance (Z) between the first and second electrode (9, 13; 9a, 13a, 29, 213) during the liquid flow; (e) compare the actual impedance (Z) with a reference impedance (Z1); and (f) interrupting the liquid flow when a predetermined condition between the effective impedance (Z) and the reference impedance (Z1) is achieved.

摘要： A beer dispensing device comprises a fitment (7) for fitting to the tap (9), a sensor (24) for sensing the quantity of beer dispensed from the tap (9) on turning on of the tap, a pivot lever (4) and arm (1) for engaging the tap (9), and an electronic control box (3) for causing the pivot lever (4) to be rotated under spring (28) action to turn off the tap (9) in response to an indication from the sensor (24) that the required quantity of beer has been dispensed from the tap (9). Such a device is particularly applicable to the dispensing of beer at a public bar as it allows substantially hands free operation after the bartender has initiated dispensing by opening of the tap, and therefore allows more flexible and faster service through multi-tasking by the bartender.

摘要： A method and apparatus is provided to detect the position of an object, such as a container (48), in a target window (30) using the concept of triangulation of energy radiation. A transmitter (10) emits a pulse of energy in response to periodic clock pulses from a clock (46) which is at least partially reflected off the container (48) positioned in the target window (30) and into a receiver (12). The signal produced by the receiver (12) is checked to ensure that the energy indicative signal is synchronous with the periodic clock pulse to eliminate errant energy sources. The presence of a synchronous singal indicates the presence of an object in the target window (30) wherein subsequent action may be taken, such as dispensing a beverage and/or ice into a container (48) within the target window (30).
