摘要： Provided is a starting-fuel supply device, including: a starting-fuel supply valve configured to automatically add a starting fuel to an air-fuel mixture generated by a carburetor; and a valve chamber for the starting-fuel supply valve, wherein a fuel in a fuel tank is allowed to move to an intake passage through the valve chamber for the starting-fuel supply valve with use of a manual pump configured to suck up the fuel in the fuel tank into a carburetor before start of an engine, and wherein the valve chamber is disposed at a position below the intake passage when the engine is in a stored state.

摘要： A fuel supply system for small two-stroke internal combustion engines for e.g. chain saws, line trimmers and similar hand-held power-tools including a diaphragm carburetor (20) equipped with a purging system (80a, 81a) or priming system (80b, 81b) for facilitating starting of the engine (1). Downstream of the diaphragm (30), the carburetor has a fuel valve (60) with a fuel cavity (73), which when the valve is not closed being connected via a fuel conduit (37) to a fuel nozzle (35, 36) in a main air passage (21) in the carburetor. The purging system or priming system including a fuel line (80a; 80b), which is provided with a manually operated pump (81a; 81b) and is connected between a fuel tank (26) and either the fuel cavity (73) or the fuel conduit (37).

An internal wall of the fixed-quantity fuel chamber undergoes elastic displacement, allowing its internal capacity to expand/shrink within a predetermined range; the fixed-quantity fuel chamber is connected to a fuel delivery path that communicates with the intake passage side and has a manually operated open/close valve; the valve is opened in a state in which, due to the primary pump being operated, the fixed-quantity fuel chamber is filled with a predetermined quantity of fuel while enlarging its internal capacity, whereby it shrinks due to an elastic contraction force and the fuel.

摘要： A carburetor provides a supplemental fuel supply to an engine and includes a body, a fuel metering diaphragm and a fluid pump. The fuel metering diaphragm defines part of a fuel metering chamber and a reference chamber and has at least a portion that is movable relative to the body to increase and decrease the volume of the fuel metering chamber to control fuel flow in the fuel metering chamber. The fluid pump is carried by the carburetor or another component upstream of the carburetor and has an outlet in fluid communication with the metering reference chamber and an actuator arranged to discharge fluid through the outlet to increase the pressure within the metering reference chamber and thereby increase the fuel flow rate from the fuel metering chamber to the air-fuel passage to provide a supplemental fuel supply to the engine.
