On at least one carrier element fixing points, via which that carrier element is to be fixed at a further carrier element of the carrier assembly, are connected with each other by reinforcement paths.

    • A tilt-up door for a building having a relatively wide door opening having a door frame including top and bottom horizontal members and vertical side members connected to the top and bottom horizontal members. The vertical side members can have a horizontally extending pivot shaft tube positioned between the top and bottom horizontal members, and outwardly extending cam followers adjacent to the top horizontal member. U-shaped channels can extend vertically along opposite sides of the door opening with the U-shaped channels facing each other and the door opening. The U-shaped channels can have generally horizontal track members extending from the top edge of the door opening and the horizontal tracks can have a curved cam surface. Carriages each including a horizontal pivot shaft journal can be positioned in the U-shaped channels for vertical movement in the U-shaped channels. Pivot shafts can rotatably connect a pivot shaft tube to a pivot shaft journal with the outwardly extending cam followers engaging one of the cam surfaces. An actuator can be connected to the carriages to move the carriages in the U-shaped channels. The tilt-up door is mounted for vertical movement and for tilting movement about the horizontal axis of the pivot shafts in the door opening when the actuator is operated to move the carriages vertically in the U-shaped channels and the first and second cam followers along the respective cam surfaces to tilt the door to a generally horizontal position as the door is moved vertically upward.

    • The present invention employed an elevating device for a window glass provided in a door of a vehicle, including: a guiding device which is provided in the door; a career plate which engages with the guiding device and slidably moves in an elevating direction of the window glass in relation to the guiding device; and a driving device which raises and lowers the career plate. The career plate is provided with a stopper which abuts on the guiding device when the career plate reaches an elevation-limiting position. The stopper is provided with an attaching portion which is attached to the career plate, and an abutting portion which abuts on the guiding device and elastically deforms when the stopper reaches the elevation-limiting position. The abutting portion is formed such that a width thereof becomes wider than the attaching portion and such that the width becomes smaller toward a distal end side.

    • A door operator system for slidable doors comprises an expandable and retractable lattice assembly adapted for connection between a door and a stationary structure. The lattice assembly includes forward and rearward link arms connected together at a pivot joint to form a link arm pair. Several link arm pairs may be pivotally joined together to form the expandable and retractable lattice assembly, such that the distance between a retracted position and an expanded position of the lattice assembly is relatively long. An actuator with a relatively short stroke length has a housing and a shaft that reciprocates with respect to the housing between retracted and extended positions. The housing is connected to a pivot joint of one pair of link arms and the reciprocal shaft is connected to a juxtaposed pivot joint of another pair of link arms. With this arrangement, movement of the shaft over the relatively short stroke length causes the lattice assembly to move between the retracted and expanded positions over the relatively long distance, thereby causing movement of the door with respect to the stationary structure over the relatively long distance. Pneumatic control circuitry for controlling operation of the door and safety features are disclosed.
