    • A window regulator includes a guide and an elongated carrier attached to the guide. A drive cable is driven by an actuator to move the carrier relative to the guide. A support cable includes a first end that is attached to a forward edge of a window opening of a door structure. The support cable includes a second end that is attached to a lower end of the guide. A first direction control device is attached to and rotatably supported by the carrier, proximate to a forward edge of the window opening. A second direction control device is attached to and rotatably supported by the carrier, and is disposed rearward of the first direction control device, between the first direction control device and the guide. The support cable is engaged with and guided by the first direction control device and the second direction control device.

    • A window regulator which attenuates vibrations of a wire, which are generated when the door is closed while a window glass is constrained at the top end of the window, to suppress the generation of an abnormal noise. The window regulator includes a carrier plate coupled to a vehicle window glass, a driving unit which lifts and lowers the carrier plate and is disposed below a lower limit of lifting and lowering of the carrier plate, a lifting wire having one end coupled to the carrier plate and another end coupled to the driving unit via a direction-changing member, and a lowering wire having ends coupled to the carrier plate and the driving unit, respectively. An attenuation member is provided on the lifting wire interposed between the direction-changing member and the driving unit and makes contact with the lifting wire to attenuate vibrations when the lifting wire vibrates.

    • A vehicle window opening/closing device 1 comprises: an inversion pulley 12 provided to an upper portion of a guide rail 10; a drive mechanism 14 provided, in line, to a lower end of the guide rail 10, and constituted so that a speed reduction mechanism including a worm and a worm wheel, and a drum connected concentrically with the worm wheel are received into a same housing 15; a close-side cable 24, whose one end is fixed to the drum and whose other end is coupled to a carrier plate 11 via the inversion pulley 12; an open-side cable 25, whose one end is fixed to the drum and whose other end is coupled directly to the carrier plate 11; and an electric motor 17 having an armature coupled mechanically to the worm, the electric motor being capable of being coupled to the drive mechanism 14.

    • Disclosed is a window regulator that reduces thrust-down noises by minimizing the moment of rising even when the window glass reaches the lower edge, and improves the durability of an elastic member. The window regulator (10) is provided with: a carrier plate (12) that holds the window glass; a guide rail (11) that freely guides the carrier plate up and down; a direction switching member (13) disposed at the top end of the guide rail; inner cables (16, 17) that pass over the direction changing member, and are connected to the carrier plate (12); and a drive mechanism (14) that reciprocatingly drives the inner cables. An elastic member (28) is disposed on the lower edge of the carrier plate (12). A receiving section (27), which comes into contact with the elastic member (28) and controls the descent of the carrier plate, is disposed on the drive mechanism (14) housing (25). The receiving section (27) has an inclined surface (44) inclined in such a manner as to rise with increasing distance from the guide rail.

For coupling the window pane to the adjusting mechanism of the window lifter, a guide region is formed on a surface of the pane element via which the window pane is engageable with a guide device of the adjusting mechanism, displaceable in a direction of adjustment. The guide region forms at least one stop, which counteracts a pivoting of the window pane about an axis extending perpendicular to a plane of the window pane.
