摘要： Disclosed are: a yellow dye which has a color phase having a high contrast ratio suitable for inkjet recording, can produce recorded materials having high durability, and can be used for the preparation of an ink composition to provide an ink composition having excellent storage stability; and an ink composition containing the yellow dye. Specifically disclosed are: a water-soluble azo compound represented by formula (1) or a salt thereof; and an ink composition containing the compound or the salt thereof. The ink composition has a color phase and a color saturation suitable for inkjet recording, can produce recorded materials having high durability, particularly high light resistance and ozone gas resistance, and can also produce printed images having excellent storage stability or the like. In the formula, Q represents a halogen atom; R represents a C1-C11 alkylene group; p represents an integer of 2 to 4; and n represents 1 or 2.

摘要： The present invention relates to pyrifone azo dyes of formula (1), wherein A is the radical of a diazo component of the benzene, naphthalene, diphenyl, azobenzene, thiophene, benzothiazole, benzoisothiazole, thiadiazole, indazole, benzotriazole, pyrazole, anthraquinone, naphttholic acid imide, chromone, phthalimide or diphenylene oxide series, R1 is hydrogen, unsubstituted or hydroxyl- or phenyl-substituted C1-C6alkyl, it being possible for the alkyl chain to be interrupted from C3 upwards by one or more oxygen atoms, or has the meanings of R2, R2 is a radical of formulae (2), (3), (4), (5), (6), or (7), wherein B is a bridging member, R4 is alkyl or aryl, R5 and R6 are each independently of the other alkyl, aryl or heteroaryl and A is as defined for formula (1), or R1 and R2 toghether with the nitrogen atom in NR1R2 form a heterocyclic ring, Y is cyano, —CONH2 or CH2SO3H, and n is an integer from 2 to 6, to a process for their preparation and to their use in the production coloured plastics or polymeric color particles.

摘要： The invention relates to compounds of the formula (I) ##STR1## where D.sup.1 and D.sup.2 are each independently of each other unsubstituted or substituted aryl or hetaryl. The compounds are obtained by diazotizing one or more amines of the formula D-NH.sub.2 where D has the meaning D.sup.1 or D.sup.2 as per the formula (I) and coupling with 0.5 mole of 1,5-diazabicyclo[3.3.0]octane-2,4,6,8-tetrone per mole of total reacting diazonium salts. Depending on the presence and length of alkyl chains the compounds are suitable for use as pigments, disperse dyes or even fat dyes.

摘要： There are described novel yellow to red azo compounds of the formula I ##STR1## wherein each D independently of the other is the radical of an aromatic or heterocyclic diazo component, each Z independently of the other is hydrogen or a C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl group or an acylamino group, Y is hydrogen or an unsubstituted or substituted C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -alkyl group, X is either the direct bond or C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -alkylene, ##STR2## and n is a number from 2 to 6, preferably 2; and the substituent Y, in the case of an unsubstituted or substituted C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -alkyl group, can also be bonded to the o-position relative to the N atom of the phenylene group to form a six-membered ring, or both Y substituents can be linked together to form a C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -alkylene bridge; described also are processes for producing the novel compounds, and their use as dyes for dyeing and printing natural and synthetic textile materials, particularly polyamide and wool materials, and also cotton, whereby there are obtained dyeings which are distinguished by good general fastness properties, especially by a good dye build-up, very good fastness to wet processing, good fastness to light, and good resistance to formaldehyde and good stability to hydrolysis.
