摘要： A large-angle sloping roof steel structure connected to a main body structure, including: an intermediate platform, inclined main supporting steel columns circumferentially connected at four corners of the intermediate platform, constructing steel columns and wind-proof surrounding beam connected between top ends of the inclined main supporting steel columns, where roof purlin are connected between the adjacent inclined main supporting steel columns at intervals. The invention provides a top-down inverted construction method for a large-angle sloping roof with a steel structure as the main structural form. By using the method, the operation safety of an inclined main stressed vertical member during the installation process can be ensured, and the investment of supporting measures is reduced by preferentially installing the intermediate platform, thus effectively ensuring the installation progress, quality and safety of the sloping roof steel structure. The present invention can be widely applied to sloping roof construction.

摘要： Structural connectors used as a component to construct an arch including a plurality of closely adjacent, polygonal rows of stringer beams. The multiple row polygonal arch is a low-cost, general purpose support structure for bridges, shelters and arbors applicable to many cost-, time- or environmentally-sensitive situations. The structural connectors may be a Y-shaped connectors with three brackets, two upper brackets and a lower bracket, which collectively enable a union of three beams forming one node of the multiple row polygonal arch. Using these Y-shaped connectors to join the beams at each node creates the arch structure, and additionally provides the features of cantilevering, modularity, generic component shape, reusability and safety. Structural connectors are applicable to a variety of structures such as pedestrian and vehicular bridges, shelters, arbors, as well as jewelry, furniture and toys. Other aspects, embodiments, and features are also included.

摘要： A rafter bracket configured to connect a vertical post to a rafter and beam(s) is described herein. The rafter bracket may include lower vertical side plates, a horizontal plate, and upper vertical side plates. The horizontal plate may be perpendicular to the upper and lower vertical side plates and may separate the upper vertical side plates from the lower vertical side plates. The horizontal plate and lower vertical side plates may create a lower cavity that receives the vertical post. Meanwhile, the rafter may be positioned on one of the upper vertical side plates and positioned between two of the upper vertical side plates and may be angled at an acute angle relative to the vertical post as well as the upper and lower vertical side plates. One or more of the lower vertical side plates may receive lateral plates that define a lateral cavity receiving the beam.
