摘要： A module for use in constructing a building includes a ceiling assembly. Wall assemblies are configured for attachment to opposite sides of the ceiling assembly generally at tops of the wall assemblies. A floor assembly is configured for attachment generally to bottoms of the wall assemblies. Connector plates are attached to the wall assemblies. The connector plates are configured to receive fasteners for attaching the ceiling assembly and floor assembly to the wall assemblies. A method of construction using the modules is also disclosed.

摘要： A tapered truss is provided. In one embodiment, the truss has a pair of base members configured to be attached to a top surface of a vertical support member. The truss may further have an upper pair of truss members and a lower pair of truss members. Each upper truss member each forms an acute angle with a respective base member and each lower truss member forms an obtuse angle from the respective base member such that the lower truss member is not parallel to the upper truss member. The truss may additionally include a ceiling joist member connected to each of the lower truss members. In one embodiment, the ceiling joist member is substantially parallel to the pair of base members.

The panel sections include lower frame panels or support members, wall panels, floor panels, and flat roof panels. The building may be assembled by securing the floor panels to the support members, securing the wall panels to the floor panels, and securing the roof panels to the wall panels and to adjacent roof panels. The roof panels may have rigid insulation. The roof panels may have tapered rigid insulation or the modular building may be constructed with the roof panels in a tilted position.

摘要： A substantially preassembled modular frame system for erecting permanent school buildings. The system design, materials, and construction have been pre-approved by state inspectors. The system provides a roof that is extensible from a low position that is configured to permit the system to be transported on highways and fit under common overpasses and bridges to a pitched position that provides a sloped roof profile to improve insulation factors of completed buildings and better shed rain, snow, and debris. The system includes anchor assemblies that are rigidly connected to the frame to inhibit uplift forces acting on the building from distorting or dislodging the building from the foundation. The system also includes preassembled wall panels and a convenient mechanism for emplacing and securing the wall panels within the modular frames.

The panels are preferably coated on one or both sides for protection against scratching during handling and assembly. One or more of the panels preferably include decorative relief, such as the appearance of overlapping wooden boards. In a preferred embodiment of the method of the invention, the panels are manufactured from rolled steel. Plastic coating is preferably applied to the rolled steel after it is painted and before the steel is cut into panels and given decorative relief, in order to protect the panels from damage.

摘要： A modular construction system utilizes building components or panels formed of high strength plasticized concrete. Panels are formed with two or more linear peripheral edges fitted with mortises. FRP pultruded tenons are used to connect aligned mortises for adjacent panels. Walls, crown beams and roof panels can be so formed and assembled. Hollow corrugated panels are suitable for forming beams and interior partitions. Beams can be rested on regularly spaced piles and then floor panels on the beams, walls on the floor panels, crown beams on the walls and roof panels on the crown beams, buildings can be erected with a minimum of tools or specialized knowledge. The resulting structure is substantially impervious to environmental hazards, particularly relevant in more primitive locations.

摘要： There is provided a premanufactured structural building panel system for effectively promoting the efficient construction of the exterior wall members of a building having improved insulation, sound absorption, fire retardant and structural properties. The premanufactured structural building panels are made of a pair of C-shaped structural channels. The panels include a fire retarding board secured to opposing angle members and a foam insulation member secured to the fire retarding board. A plurality of retaining members may be provided for additional structural support. The structural panels are supported on wall support members and connected to each other in a side-by-side fashion to form an exterior wall member of a building. The panels are arranged such that the C-shaped channels are protected from conditions external to the building by a portion of the foam insulation members. The exterior wall members include vertical sidewalls, a horizontal roof and ceiling wall, and a pitched roof system. The interior surface of the walls can be prepared for finishing. Affixed to the exterior of the wall members is a weatherable covering.
