These compounds are preferably used for dyeing leather.

摘要： 1:2 Metal complex dyes of azomethines of the formula ##STR1## wherein R is hydrogen, unsubstituted or substituted alkyl, aralkyl, aryl, alkylsulfonyl or arylsulfonyl, A is the radical of an aliphatic 1,2- or 1,3-diamine or of a carbocyclic or heterocyclic 1,2-diamine, B is the radical of an aromatic o-hydroxyaldehyde, Ar.sub.1 is an aromatic radical, m is 1 or 2, and Ar.sub.2 is an aromatic-carbocyclic or heterocyclic radical. These dyes are suitable for dyeing and printing polyamide materials. The dyes are distinguished by their excellent fastness properties, especially good lightfastness. They have good covering power; produce level dyeings; and have good fastness to washing, water, perspiration, alkali, acid, diffusion and rubbing. Strong yellow, yellowish brown, reddish brown, dark brown or olive brown shades are obtained.

The metal complexes are useful as dyes for the dyeing and printing of anionic dyeable.

摘要： Water copper complex disazo dyestuffs of the formula ##STR1## had been found wherein A is phenyl or naphthyl, C is phenylene or phenylene substituted by lower alkyl, C and C' together are naphthylene, B is naphthylene, m is 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 and Y is --SO.sub.2 --CH.dbd.CH.sub.2 or --SO.sub.2 --CH.sub.2 --CH.sub.2 --Z wherein Z is hydroxy, methylsulfonyloxy, p-tolylsulfonyloxy, acetoxy, dimethylamino, diethylamino, thiosulfato, phosphato or sulfato, which are well suitable for dyeing and printing wool, silk and polyamide fibres from an acidic, neutral or slightly alkaline medium, and they are particularly valuable for dyeing and printing cotton and other natural or regenerated cellulose fibres, yielding dyeings and prints distinguished by high tinctorial strengths and intense shades, such as navy blue, grey, black, brown or red brown, having good fastnesses especially to washing, to chlorinated water to light and to dry-cleaning.

摘要： The invention provides a 1:2 metal complex in which at least one of the complexants is a polyazo compound of formula ##STR1## wherein --A.sub.1 --(CO).sub.p --OH signifies the radical of a diazo component of formula H.sub.2 N--A--(CO).sub.p --OH, in which the substituent --(CO).sub.p --OH is in ortho-position to the diazotizable amino group --NH.sub.2, --A-- is the ortho-bivalent radical and p signifies 0 or 1, or a modified derivative thereof,--X-- signifies an aromatic bivalent radical,--B.sub.1 signifies the radical of a coupling component HB, or a modified derivative thereof,m signifies 0 or 1,n signifies 0, 1 or 2and M signifies hydrogen or a cation, with the proviso that m+n=1 or 2,or a mixture of such complexes and to the use thereof as dyestuffs, in particular for the dyeing of a substrate dyeable with anionic dyes, especially of leather or pelts.
