摘要： The present disclosure describes a grinding apparatus preferably comprised of upper, central and lower bodies that are magnetically connected to one another. The central body is further comprised of cutting edges positioned on a center portion to cut and evacuate herbs. The upper body is comprised of outer grinding teeth that can cut and grind herbs trapped proximate an outer rim of the central body. Inner grinding teeth positioned on the upper body and having curved inner faces abut against a correspondingly cylindrical member of the central body to limit the radial play between the upper and central bodies during operation. A teeth or gear system is also disclosed to provide torque transfer and facilitate the connection between the central and lower bodies.

摘要： A device for separating light flaky cut rolled stems (CRSs) by a throwing roller is provided. The device includes a vertically provided separation bin, and a CRS guide device and a CRS distribution plate which are arranged in the separation bin. The present disclosure further provides a method for separating light flaky CRSs by using the device. The present disclosure achieves full separation of finished CRSs from light flaky CRSs. The device of the present disclosure is designed for the first time, and can be directly connected to a pneumatic CRS feeding and discharging section of a production line. The device of the present disclosure is compact and suitable for industrial production.

摘要： The present disclosure relates to cellulose nanomaterials made or derived from tobacco and methods for the production thereof. The tobacco-derived cellulose nanomaterials can be employed in various industrial applications such as film forming applications and solution thickening technologies. In particular, the disclosure is directed to methods for preparing tobacco-derived cellulose nanomaterials using less fibrillation cycles than in the production of wood pulp. The invention includes a method for preparing tobacco derived nanocellulose material comprising receiving a tobacco pulp in a dilute form such that the tobacco pulp is a tobacco pulp suspension with a consistency of less than about 5%; and mechanically fibrillating the tobacco pulp suspension to generate a tobacco derived nanocellulose material having at least one average particle size dimension in the range of about 1 nm to about 100 nm.

摘要： Tobacco ribs which are separated from laminae are contacted by steam at a temperature of approximately 150 degrees whereby the steam condenses on the surfaces of ribs and the thus released heat promotes the penetration of condensate into as well as gradual evaporation of initial moisture and condensate in the interior of ribs to thereby increase the specific volume of the ribs. The ribs are agitated during contact with and are caused to float in steam. Warm water is sprayed onto the ribs during contact with steam. The contact with steam prior to start of expansion takes up approximately one minute, and the ribs remain in contact with steam for another minute to effect expansion by evaporated moisture. The thus treated ribs are immediately rolled, severed and dried. The volume of ribs can be increased still further by contacting the severed ribs, prior to drying, with steam and water to bring about additional evaporation of moisture in the interior of severed ribs.
