    • An outer operational device (13) for a door lock includes cover (20) receiving a sliding block (511) and a handle (197) operatively connected to the sliding block (511). The sliding block (511) includes a sliding groove (525) having a horizontal section (528) slideably receiving a locking member (541). A driving member (44) is fixed to a connection member (595) in the cover (20) and is operatively connected to a latch (124). When the locking member (541) is in a first position, pivotal movement of the handle (197) drives the sliding block (511) to actuate the connection member (595) and the driving member (44) to retract the latch (124). When the locking member (541) is in the second position, the sliding block (511) is moved without actuating the connection member (595) when handle (197) is pivoted, and the latch (124) remains in the latching position.

    • A latch assembly comprises a first portion (32) defining an opening and a second portion (54) slidably disposed in the opening for movement of the first portion along the second portion. The second portion includes a stop which is larger than the opening for preventing further movement of the first portion along the second portion in a first direction. A securing element releasably connects the first portion and the second portion in a first relative axially connected position. In a mortise lock (20), the first portion and the second portion are thus movable together relative to the housing so that the first portion at least partially non-rotatably projects outwardly from the opening in the edge wall of the housing in an extended position and is inside the housing in a retracted position. Disconnecting the first portion from the second portion allows the first portion to move along the second portion in the first direction to a second axial position.

    • A structure for electrical locks comprises two rotational members, a latching assembly, and a controlling means. The two rotational members are respectively secured to two handles of a door. The latching assembly includes a cartridge, a sliding element, and a dividing rod. The dividing rod is fitted in the cartridge to define two lateral zones respectively corresponding to two recesses of the rotational members. The sliding member is slidably fitted in one of the lateral zones of the cartridge. The controlling means includes a pushing assembly and a solenoid. When the solenoid is de-energized, the pushing assembly can be moved forward to lock a respective handle. When the solenoid is energized, the pushing assembly can be moved back to free the respective handle. The structure can be easily applied in a door where one handle can be freely operated while the other handle can be electro-selectively operated.

    • A transmission device for a door lock has a solenoid switch, a driven device and a linkage assembly. The solenoid switch has a solenoid core, a guide tube, a sleeve and a clutch cap. The guide tube is mounted in the solenoid core and has a connecting end. The connecting end is formed on one end of the guide tube and protrudes out of the solenoid core. The sleeve is mounted slidably in the solenoid core and around the guide tube and has at least one engaging tab formed on and protruding from the sleeve at one end adjacent to the connecting end of the guide tube. The clutch cap is mounted around the connecting end of the guide tube and has at least one engaging notch selectively and detachably engaging respectively with a corresponding engaging tab on the sleeve.

    • A deadbolt device for a door is disclosed that has a linkage assembly enclosed within a handle. The linkage assembly extends from a first end to a second end and is moveable from a locked position to an unlocked position. A lock housing extends through the door and includes a guide channel that extends from an interior side of the lock housing to an exterior side of the lock housing. A locking member, at least a portion of which is in the guide channel, is operatively connected to the linkage assembly and is moveable from a locked position to an unlocked position, which correspond to those of the linkage assembly. A biasing mechanism is operatively connected to the locking member and biases the locking member to its locked position. A dogging member is moveably connected to the lock housing such that the dogging member can move from an undogged to a dogged position.
