摘要： A belt fastener is provided where, in one form, a washer is assembled on a bolt that extends through a recessed aperture in a lower plate of the belt fastener. An inclined cup wall of the lower plate extends toward the recessed aperture and is for seating of the bolt head thereagainst with the shank extending through the aperture. In accordance with one aspect, the washer is sized to fit into the area of the aperture so that when an upper plate is applied to the belt ends for clamping the belt ends between the upper plate and the lower plate, the washer can be shifted into the aperture area and, if necessary, into the recess formed by the cup. In this manner, the washer is not extruded over the lower cup in contrast to larger washers of prior belt fasteners.

摘要： A cargo bay cover for a pickup truck includes at least first and second panels hingedly connected to each other. The first panel includes a release mechanism including a lever arm that is movable between a released position and an unreleased position, and a lock that is movable to a locked position preventing movement of the lever arm. The cover includes a resiliently deformable panel latch that is released when the first panel is opened and that is capable of flexing around a keeper if the cover is opened incorrectly. The cover includes a unique mounting clamp for attachment to the pickup truck. A second half of the mounting clamp rides up a shoulder on a first half of the mounting clamp as the halves are drawn together, enabling the to pinch in two directions—one parallel to the drawing force and another perpendicular to the drawing force.

The bracket assembly keeps the sign post stable but also allows for a clean break away upon impact.

摘要： An anchoring fixture for stools capable of adjusting elevation is installed on an axle hub hinged on the top end of tripod legs which rest on the floor. The axle hub has a longitudinal axle hole to hold a screw post fastened to the bottom of a stool. The axle hub has a hinge portion on one side of the top surface. The hinge portion has lugs on two sides to be coupled with one end of two clamping members. The clamping members have another end to be fastened by a fastening element. The hinge portion and the two clamping members have respectively a thread portion which jointly mates and couples with the screw post beneath the stool. Thus the elevation of the stool may be rapidly adjusted upwards and downwards to clamp the screw post tightly.

The diameter of the loop is variable by placing the first anchoring assembly in its second state and moving the first portion of the elongate flexible element relative to the first surface to produce a changed diameter for the loop. The first anchoring assembly is changeable from its second state into its first state to thereby maintain the changed diameter for the loop.

A two piece splice assembly joins the extrusions together and provides the torsional strength needed for a furling element. A tail piece includes a pair of longitudinally extending outwardly extending projections which are adapted to fit into the parallel notches in the forward portion. A transverse passageway extends into the nose and tail portions when the two portions are aligned so that a rod or button can be inserted.
