The connector includes a body having an outer wall with a terminal edge, and a passageway extending along a longitudinal axis. A plurality of fingers is coupled to the body and extends toward the longitudinal axis. The plurality of fingers is cantilevered with the body. Each finger of the plurality of fingers includes a slot that provides communication into the passageway. The slot extends from the terminal edge of the body substantially along the length of each finger.

摘要： A raintight fitting has a fitting body including a plurality of first cable passageways configured to receive electrical cables. The first cable passageways converge into a second cable passageway, and the second cable passageway is configured to receive the conductors from plural cables received in the first cable passageways. A plurality of cable locks are each located at respective first cable passageways, are engageable with the cables received in the first cable passageways, and are configured to (i) secure the cables within the first cable passageways, and (ii) provide an electrically conductive path between the metallic covering of each cable and the fitting body. A raintight seal extends about the periphery of each first cable passageway, and is configured to form a raintight seal between (i) the fitting body and the electrical cables received within the first cable passageways and (ii) between the first cable passageways and ambient atmosphere. A raintight connector is connectable to a conduit for receiving conductors in the second cable passageway, and is configured to form a raintight seal between (i) the conduit and the fitting body and (ii) the second cable passageway and ambient atmosphere.

摘要： An explosion-proof arrangement (20) having a bushing part (23) with a bushing opening (24) that defines a bushing surface (25) and a structural unit (29) arranged in the bushing opening (24). The structural unit (29) includes a deformable inner body (31) with at least one conductor channel (32) extending through in a longitudinal direction (L), and a plastically deformable connecting sleeve (30) surrounding the inner body (31). At least one conductor (21) is guided through its own associated conductor channel (32) in the inner body (31). A connecting portion (33) of the connecting sleeve (30) is plastically deformed so that it presses radially inwardly on the inner body (31) and deforms it in a radial direction (R). A first delimiting surface (35) is formed on an outer circumference of the plastically deformed connecting portion (33). The bushing surface (25) forms a second delimiting surface (36). By arranging the structural unit (29) with the first delimiting surface (35) in the bushing opening (24), a flameproof Ex gap (37) is produced between the two delimiting surfaces (35, 36).

摘要： An electric device includes a housing and a cable. The housing has a pipe bracket disposed on the housing. The pipe bracket includes an interior pathway extending from a free-end of the pipe bracket into the housing. The free-end of the pipe bracket has teeth thereon. The cable has a union nut and a sleeve. The sleeve has a crimped section attached to the cable such that the crimped section is non-displaceable. The sleeve further has a toothed annular surface. In an installed state of the cable to the housing, a feedthrough portion of the cable extends through the interior pathway of the pipe bracket and into the housing. The union nut encompasses the sleeve and is attached to the pipe bracket to thereby press the toothed annular surface of the sleeve against the teeth of the pipe bracket such that the cable is fixed rotationally to the housing.

摘要： An electrical device includes a housing, a retaining cap, and a sleeve. The housing has a cable port through which a cable is led into the housing. The retaining cap has a passage opening through which the cable is led through the retaining cap. The sleeve has a fixing section resting against a sheath of the cable and an annular face extending radially with respect to the cable. In an assembled state of the electrical device, the retaining cap is joined to the sleeve and fixes the sleeve to the cable port with the passage opening of the retaining cap engaging over the fixing section of the sleeve and an edge surface of the passage opening pressing the fixing section against the sheath of the cable. Further in the assembled state, the retaining cap and the cable port may be connected to one another by a bayonet connector.

The projection is preferably in the shape of a semi-circular channel and a wiring harness passes from electronic devices within the box, through a cut out in the front wall, and rests in the semi-circular channel. It is retained in the channel by a tie strap which is located between two retaining elements spaced apart approximately the width of the strip and forming planes parallel to the front face of the box. In this manner, the tendency of the strap to slide along the projection is eliminated and the strap can be tightened by pulling straight up thereon, thereby minimizing the space needed under the hood to install the device.
