Typically, in construction of commercial, industrial and some residential spaces, building codes require the use of a metal conduit, for holding electrical wires, which may terminate at the junction box. Servicing of the junction box may include, but is not limited to, the installation, removal or trouble shooting of the box and/or its contents contained within. Electrical assemblies are frequently crowded environments in which it can be dangerous or difficult to handle components with the fingers. During usage, the apparatus may encompass an entire device on both left and right sides to prevent an electrical conductor, such as, e.g., another switch, outlet, mud ring, or junction box, from touching the device thereby minimizing the possibility of shorting an electrical connection during the servicing of the device, while the top and bottom portions may comprise openings for the device's mounting strap or yoke to protrude from.

摘要： A self-leveling floor mounted electrical outlet assembly may include a cylindrical housing with a threaded inner surface. A mounting frame may be rotatably coupled to the threaded inner surface of the cylindrical housing to adjustably position the mounting frame within the housing and provide for a rough elevation adjustment of an electrical receptacle or wiring device. The mounting frame may further comprise a first portion or outer disk comprising an edge mateably coupled with the threaded inner surface of the cylindrical housing, and a second portion or yoke support comprising at least one threaded fastener extending from the second portion to the threaded opening, the at least one threaded fastener coupled to the threaded opening to adjustably position the second portion with respect to the first portion and configured to provide for a fine elevation adjustment. A wiring device may be coupled to the second portion of the mounting frame.

摘要： A kit for recessed mounting of one or more electrical components within an electrical floor box. The kit includes a leveling ring for mounting an electrical component within the floor box, a funnel with a keystone opening therein, a trim ring with a recessed surface, a cover, and an optional divider for dividing the electrical floor box into high and low voltage compartments. A keystone opening on the funnel provides access to a low voltage holder. The low voltage holder includes a pocket to accommodate snap-in mounting of a low voltage component therein. The leveling ring enables leveling the electrical component with the floor surface. Fasteners secure the trim ring to the funnel and the leveling ring.
