摘要： A cell, in particular a button cell, and to a method for manufacturing such a cell, the method includes providing a first part and a second part intended to respectively form the lid and the cup of the housing, the first part including an edge area with a zone inclined or perpendicular with respect to a center axis of the housing; applying a layer of adhesive on the edge area of the first part; then inserting the first part into an open end of the second part, the layer of adhesive on the edge area being finally turned towards the open end of the second part; closing the housing by bending an upper portion of the side wall on the zone of the edge area provided with the layer of adhesive, and curing the layer of adhesive to form an adhesive joint sealing the housing.

摘要： A transition metal composite hydroxide can be used as a precursor to allow a lithium transition metal composite oxide having a small and highly uniform particle diameter to be obtained. A method also is provided for producing a transition metal composite hydroxide represented by a general formula (1) MxWsAt(OH)2+α, coated with a compound containing the additive element, and serving as a precursor of a positive electrode active material for nonaqueous electrolyte secondary batteries. The method includes producing a composite hydroxide particle, forming nuclei, growing a formed nucleus; and forming a coating material containing a metal oxide or hydroxide on the surfaces of composite hydroxide particles obtained through the upstream step.

摘要： A flat-shaped battery of the present invention includes an outer can that is open upward, a sealing can that is open downward, and a gasket that is placed between the outer can and the sealing can to seal the space between them. The outer can includes a base plate and a cylindrical surrounding wall. The surrounding wall of the outer can includes a straight portion that extends upward and perpendicular to the base plate. The sealing can includes a housing in the form of an inverted dish, a flange that projects outward from a lower end of the opening of the housing, and a single outer surrounding wall that extends downward from an outside edge of the flange so as to be perpendicular to the flange. The outer surrounding wall of the sealing can is arranged perpendicular to the base plate of the outer can. The gasket includes a base that receives a lower end of the outer surrounding wall of the sealing can, and an outer cylindrical wall that extends upward from the base and is disposed between the surrounding wall of the outer can and the outer surrounding wall of the sealing can. The surrounding wall of the outer can has a curved edge such that the surrounding wall at the opening of the outer can is bent toward an axis of the outer can and positioned laterally with respect to the outer surrounding wall of the sealing can. The curved edge presses an upper end of the outer cylindrical wall of the gasket against an upper end of the outer surrounding wall of the sealing can.

摘要： A coin type (button type) electrochemical cell is configured of a negative electrode can configuring a negative electrode side and a positive electrode can configuring a positive electrode side. Then, the negative electrode can and the positive electrode can are formed of non-magnetic stainless steel which does not have magnetic properties due to plastic processing. Specifically, the negative electrode can and the positive electrode can are formed by using high manganese stainless steel or SUS305 having a high nickel (Ni) content. In this way, the negative electrode can and the positive electrode can are formed of non-magnetic stainless steel which maintains non-magnetic properties even after being processed into the shape of a coin, and thus it is possible to provide a non-magnetic electrochemical cell, and as a result thereof, it is possible to provide an electrochemical cell which is not affected even at the time of being arranged in the vicinity of a magnet.

The grommet is further positioned between the crimp ring and the first rim and the second rim.
