The one or more connector assemblies are configured to receive a lead. The rechargeable battery includes a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and a single battery case attached directly to the sealed electronics housing and forming a sealed cavity that encapsulates both the positive electrode and the negative electrode. The battery case is electrically isolated from each of the positive electrode and the battery electrode.

摘要： A self-sealing device includes an elastic sheet that is sized and dimensioned to cover a connector that joins a lead and a lead extension. The sheet has a first memory corresponding to an unfurled configuration and a second memory corresponding to a furled configuration. The sheet, when placed about the connector in the unfurled configuration, automatically obtains the furled configuration and covers the connector so that a fluid-tight seal is formed therebetween.

摘要： A method for wirelessly charging a battery in an implantable medical device including the steps of: providing a receiver in the implantable medical device and providing a temperature sensor in the implantable medical device. The method also includes receiving, via the receiver, a wireless power signal from an external charger and converting the wireless power signal into a battery charge signal including power for recharging the battery. The method yet also includes sensing a temperature of the implantable medical device with the temperature sensor. The method further includes changing a current of the battery charge signal from a first non-zero current to a second non-zero current that is different from the first non-zero current. Changing of the current of the battery charge signal is based on the temperature sensed by the temperature sensor.

摘要： A capacitor having at least two side-by-side anodes with a cathode current collector disposed between the anodes and housed inside a casing is described. Cathode active material is supported on the opposed major faces of the current collector and the current collector/cathode active material subassembly is housed in a first separator envelope. The first separator envelope is positioned between the side-by-side anodes and this electrode assembly is then contained in a second separator envelope. The two anodes can be connected in parallel inside or outside casing, or they can be unconnected to each other. There is also cathode active material supported on inner surfaces of the casing in a face-to-face alignment with an adjacent one of the anodes. That way, the second separator envelope also prevents direct physical contact between the anode pellets and the cathode active material supported on the casing sidewalls.

摘要： Systems, devices, and methods for pacing a heart of a patient are disclosed. A device may include a leadless cardiac pacemaker (LCP) that includes a power supply, a pair of electrodes, and a controller operably connected to the electrodes and the power supply. The controller may identify a capture threshold by setting a pace amplitude at a power supply voltage of the power supply and deliver pacing stimulation pulses with different pulse widths to identify the capture threshold. The LCP may then deliver pacing stimulation pulses based, at least in part, on a pulse amplitude and pulse width associated with the capture threshold, and also adding a capture margin. In some cases, the pulse amplitude may change over time and the LCP may adjust a pulse width along a strength-duration curve to account for the pulse amplitude change and maintain a capture threshold and capture margin.

At least two implant components are releasably mechanically connected to one another. A first of the implant components includes at least parts of the fixing device. A second of the implant components includes an electromechanical component which, as a result of current drain or current feed, can swell in such a way that it causes a swelling at an outer contour of the electromechanical component at least at one point. The electromechanical component is disposed in such a way that a swelling of the electromechanical component results in a separation of the mechanical connection between the first and second implant components.

摘要： High purity lithium and associated products are provided. In a general embodiment, the present disclosure provides a lithium metal product in which the lithium metal is obtained using a selective lithium ion conducting layer. The selective lithium ion conducting layer includes an active metal ion conducting glass or glass ceramic that conducts only lithium ions. The present lithium metal products produced using a selective lithium ion conducting layer advantageously provide for improved lithium purity when compared to commercial lithium metal. Pursuant to the present disclosure, lithium metal having a purity of at least 99.96 weight percent on a metals basis can be obtained.
