摘要： In some implementations, a method comprises: determining a set of characteristics of light spectra reflected or transmitted by a set of materials when the set of materials is illuminated by a plurality of light wavelengths; constructing one or more classifiers configured to classify each material of the set of materials based on the set of characteristics of the light spectra; using the classifiers, mapping each of the light spectra onto an area of an image sensor; wherein one or more optical elements filter and focus the light spectra onto one or more elements of a detector array; wherein each optical element focuses onto an area of the detector array; wherein the mapping is a 1:1 mapping; wherein each optical element uses a Bragg reflection condition to filter the light spectra and to focus the light spectra onto an element of the detector array.

摘要： A method for determining the validity of a parallax image including receiving a captured two-dimensional image of a parallax image having at least three target identifiers, where at least two target identifiers are located at different depth planes in the parallax image; identifying the at least three target identifiers in the captured two-dimensional image of the parallax image and determining the spatial relationship between the at least three target identifiers in the two-dimensional image of the parallax image; comparing the spatial relationship of the at least three target identifiers in the captured two-dimensional image of the parallax image against a predetermined spatial relationship of the at least three target identifiers that indicates authenticity; and adjudicating the authenticity of the parallax image based on the degree of difference between the spatial relationship of the at least three target identifiers in the captured two-dimensional image and the predetermined spatial relationship.

摘要： Provided are techniques for continuous authentication for a real time hologram. A request and a hologram are received, where the hologram is embedded with a first key phrase in accordance with a first sequence, and where the first sequence indicates which portions of the first key phrase are embedded in specific locations of the hologram. A first seed and a second seed are retrieved. A second key phrase is generated using the first seed. A second sequence is generated using the second seed. It is determined whether portions of the second key phrase are embedded in specific locations of the hologram in accordance with the second sequence. In response to determining that the portions of the second key phrase are embedded in specific locations of the hologram in accordance with the second sequence, the hologram is displayed, and the request is processed. Otherwise, the request is rejected.

摘要： Disclosed are a system and method to verify and authenticate an item. The system includes a memory and a processor. The processor includes a reader module, an optical character recognition (OCR) module, an image recognition module, a camera module, and an item digital passport (IDP) module. The reader module scans and processes a matrix barcode and other barcodes. The optical character recognition (OCR) module scans one or more of a micro size alphanumeric code, a nano size alphanumeric code, and a visible alphanumeric code present on a hologram that is embossed, printed, or lasered on the item and verifies the item by comparing the scanned data with the data corresponding to the item stored in the memory. The optical character recognition module authenticates the item if the scanned data matches with the data corresponding to the item stored in the memory. The optical character recognition module facilitates a user interface to display the comparison data and the authentication data. The image recognition module verifies and authenticates one or more of a micro size image, a nano size image, and a visible holographic image present on the hologram. The camera module analyzes the intricate details of one or more of the hologram features and elements, and a security print design features and elements captured by a camera lens. The camera module measures individual features and elements present in the hologram, and the security print design features and elements with an embedded ruler. The item digital passport (IDP) module captures data pertaining to the movement of the items from a source point to a destination point.

The plurality of relief structure-forming areas are arranged in accord with a color image to be displayed.

摘要： A flexible package having a tamper evident product authentication label secured thereto and methods of making the same are disclosed. The package includes at least one panel having a heat seal line. The label has an outer surface with authentication indicia appearing thereon and an inner surface adhesively secured to the package adjacent the heat seal line. The label includes peripheral portions that are frangible, with one of the frangible peripheral portions of the label being located within a portion of the area made up by the heat seal line. Accordingly, attempted removal of the label from the package will cause said label to tear, leaving at least a portion of the peripheral edge of the label secured to the package to thereby prevent reuse of the label.

The laminated body for diffracted-light delivery (13a) includes a diffraction structure forming body in which a plurality of diffraction structures (4 and 7) are formed, and a reflective layer (5a or 8a) that is formed in accordance with each of the plurality of diffraction structures (4 and 7). A transmission density of one reflective layer (5a) of the plurality of reflective layers (5a and 8a) is in a range of 0.01 to 0.9, and a transmission density of the other reflective layer (8a) is 1.0 or greater.
