摘要： A system can have an x-ray source that generates a series of individual x-ray pulses for multi-energy imaging. A first x-ray pulse can have a first energy level and a subsequent second x-ray pulse in the series can have a second energy level different from the first energy level. An x-ray imager can receive the x-rays from the x-ray source and can detect the received x-rays for image generation. A generator interface box (GIB) controls the x-ray source to provide the series of individual x-ray pulses and synchronizes detection by the x-ray imager with generation of the individual x-ray pulses. The GIB can control x-ray pulse generation and synchronization to optimize image generation while minimizing unnecessary x-ray irradiation.

摘要： An integrated process and system for measurement and treatment of toxic gases in deep natural gas. The process comprises: cooling and depressurizing deep natural gas and then drying same; sequentially performing radon, hydrogen sulfide, and mercury measurements on the dried deep natural gas; if it is found after the measurements that the concentrations of mercury, radon, and hydrogen sulfide in the deep natural gas reach standards, delivering the deep natural gas to a gas transmission pipeline; if it is found after the measurements that the concentrations of radon, hydrogen sulfide, and mercury in the deep natural gas are substandard, sequentially performing harmless treatment on radon and partial mercury, hydrogen sulfide, and remaining mercury in the deep natural gas; sequentially performing mercury, radon, and hydrogen sulfide measurements on the deep natural gas having experienced the harmless treatment; if the concentrations of mercury, radon, and hydrogen sulfide in the deep natural gas reach the standards, delivering the deep natural gas having experienced the harmless treatment to the gas transmission pipeline; and if the concentrations of mercury, radon, and hydrogen sulfide in the deep natural gas are substandard, continuing to sequentially perform harmless treatment on radon and partial mercury, hydrogen sulfide, and remaining mercury in the deep natural gas, until the concentrations thereof reach the standards.

摘要： One feature pertains to a radiation dosimeter comprising a microdosimeter cell array that includes a first microdosimeter cell having a first semiconductor volume configured to generate a first current in response to incident radiation. The first semiconductor volume may have at least one of a first size, a first shape, a first semiconductor type, and/or a first semiconductor doping type and concentration that is associated with a first biological cell type or a first biological cell component type. The dosimeter may further comprise a processing circuit communicatively coupled to the microdosimeter cell array and configured to generate a signal based on the first current. The signal generated may be indicative of an amount of radiation absorbed by the microdosimeter cell array. A display may be utilized by the dosimeter to show a radiation level reading based on the signal generated.

摘要： A method, system, and associated apparatus are described for installing, inventorying, actuating, and/or accessing down-hole equipment in a wellbore. This comprises tagging a casing by inserting permanent components of material compositions within sections along the length of a casing. Inserted components and/or portions of an original section function as unique readable active and/or passive markers. The piping system is at least one pipe having a plurality of markers placed in radial sections strategically arranged with independently identical or different material compositions or embedded in a length of the wellbore casing. The sections function as markers forming a readable pattern readable by the reader(s). The reader is one of or a combination of any of the group consisting of a plug, a probe, a sensor, and/or a computer for reading markers. The reader travels in either a forward or backward direction.

摘要： Methods and systems are provided for triggering an information dependent mass spectrometry scan in real time. A mass spectrometry scan of a separating sample mixture is performed by a mass spectrometer at each time interval of a time period. The mass spectrometer receives the separating sample mixture from a separation device. It is determined at a certain time interval that a received mass spectrometry scan at the time interval and one or more preceding received mass spectrometry scans include two or more time-varying ion signals that represent two or more fragment ion transitions of a known compound. If a characteristic of the two or more time-varying ion signals meets a selection criterion, the mass spectrometer is instructed to perform a dependent mass spectrometry scan of the separating sample mixture for a precursor ion of the known compound at the time interval.
