The sheet member inspection method includes: applying a magnetic force to the sheet member by the first support roller; and inspecting, by the magnetic-force detection sensor, whether a magnetic object exists in the sheet member to which the magnetic force is applied by the first support roller.

摘要： An inspection device of the present invention includes: THz wave irradiation unit for irradiating a specimen with THz waves; a THz wave sensing unit for detecting transmitted waves or reflected waves of the THz waves emitted to the specimen; and an information processing unit for acquiring intensity distribution of the transmitted waves of the reflected waves of the specimen from the intensity data of the transmitted waves or the reflected waves of the specimen irradiated with the THz waves, wherein the information processing unit acquires 2-dimensional intensity distribution of the transmitted waves or reflected waves, and detects whether a foreign matter is adhering to the specimen by comparing the intensity distribution obtained when the specimen without attachment of the foreign matter is detected and the intensity distribution obtained when the specimen is detected at the time of inspection. The specimen is a sheet of paper, for example.

The checking unit is equipped with drive means for transporting the calibration medium past the checking unit in order to detect a multiplicity of measurement values of the calibration medium. The drive means are arranged in the housing of the checking unit in order for the drive means to be protected from moisture or contaminants from the environment. To obtain a transporting of the calibration medium past the checking unit in spite of the arrangement of the drive means in the housing, drive means are employed that are configured for a contactless interaction with the calibration medium and can transport the calibration medium past the checking unit contactlessly. For this purpose there is preferably used a magnetic interaction between the drive means and the calibration medium.

摘要： In a method for processing an image of a surface of a tire, a 3D digital image of the surface is captured, and each pixel of the captured image is assigned a grey level value proportional to an elevation of a corresponding point with respect to the surface. The pixels are placed in rows and columns. A search is made for zones of the surface that include pixels having a grey-level value lower than a given threshold. Boundaries of an encompassing box that includes one or more of the zones are determined. Inside the encompassing box, a grey-level value equal to a mean grey-level value of a set of reference pixels (Kij, si) positioned in a zone situated in immediate proximity to a pixel under consideration is assigned to each of the pixels whose grey-level value is lower than the given threshold.

The device includes an electromagnetic stabilizing device with at least one first pair of electromagnetic stabilizing means arranged on each side of the predetermined transport path, and a wiping device for wiping off superfluous molten metal from the strip by applying an air current in a line transversely of the transport direction of the strip and across essentially the whole width of the strip. A first image-reading apparatus takes images of the actual position of the strip in relation to the predetermined transport path. A second and third image-reading apparatus take images of the surface of the strip.

摘要： A computerized inspection system is described for detecting the presence of non-uniformity defects in a manufactured web material and for providing output indicative of a severity level of each defect. The system provides output that provides the severity levels of the non-uniformity defects in real-time on a continuous scale. Training software processes a plurality of training samples to generate a model, where each of the training samples need only be assigned one of a set of discrete rating labels for the non-uniformity defects. The training software generates the model to represent a continuous ranking of the training images, and the inspection system utilizes the model to compute the severity levels of the web material on a continuous scale in real-time without limiting the output to the discrete rating labels assigned to the training samples.
