摘要： A fuel injector includes first and second check valve members that open and close first and second nozzle outlet sets, respectively, to inject two fuels that differ in at least one of chemical identity, pressure and molecular state. The first check valve member defines a through passage, includes a closing hydraulic surface exposed to fluid pressure in the first control chamber, and moves into and out of contact with a first seat on an injector body. The second check valve member includes a closing hydraulic surface exposed to fluid pressure in a second control chamber, and moves into and out of contact with a second seat located on the first check valve member. A control valve member is movable between first and second positions that respectively block and allow fluid communication between the first and second control chambers and a drain outlet.

摘要： A valve assembly for a fluid injector for an internal combustion engine includes a valve body with a valve recess, a central longitudinal axis, and a first axial end and a second axial end with respect to the central longitudinal axis. A valve needle is axially moveable within the valve recess with respect to the central longitudinal axis. In concurrence with a seal seat area the valve needle prevents a fluid flow through at least one flow hole in its closing position and otherwise enables it. Furthermore, the injector comprises a sac volume step adjacent to the seal seat area forming a part of an inner surface of a wall of the valve body and a sac volume being designed as one end of the valve recess and being limited by a further part of the inner surface of the wall of the valve body.

At least one of the polished sections is connected to a low-pressure chamber, via a relief conduit containing a valve.

摘要： A fuel injection valve for internal combustion engines with a valve member which is displaced in a bore in a valve body by the fuel pressure, counter to the action of a closing spring. The valve body has at a combustion-space end, a valve head which on a side which faces the valve body is arranged a sealing surface which interacts with a valve seat provided on the combustion-space end of the valve body, forming a sealing cross section, and including injection apertures which permit a flow of fuel from a pressure space in the valve body to the combustion space of the internal combustion engines and has an aperture cross section which can be varied as a function of the stroke of the valve member. According to the invention, those parts which seal off the injection valve from the outside and those parts which form the aperture cross section of the injection openings are geometrically separated from one another, the sealing cross section which closes the valve off from the outside being arranged downstream, as seen in the injection direction, of the variable aperture cross section, which is situated radially to the inside.
