    • A heat engine includes four groups of cylinder assemblies and a transmission output mechanism. The transmission output mechanism includes a rocker-arm shaft support, a crankshaft support, a first rocker-arm assembly, a second rocker-arm assembly, and a crankshaft rotatablely installed on the crankshaft support. A crankshaft long-arm connecting rod and a crankshaft short-arm connecting rod are hinged on the crankshaft. The first rocker-arm assembly includes a first straight shaft, a first long arm and a second long arm, and a first hinged part is arranged on the second long arm to hinge with the crankshaft long-arm connecting rod. The second rocket-arm assembly includes a second straight shaft, a third long arm and a fourth long arm and a short arm. A second hinged part is arranged on the short arm to hinge with the crankshaft short-arm connecting rod. The crankshaft long-arm connecting rod is parallel with the short arm and the crankshaft short-arm connecting rod is parallel with the second long arm. The heat engine is simple in structure, has low manufacturing cost and makes less noise.

    • A hot-gas reciprocating machine comprises two intercommunicating spaces of variable volume and two pistons (1 and 11) for varying the volumes of these spaces. The two pistons are coupled to two parallel crank shafts (16 and 17) and are movable with an adjustable phase difference. For balancing the engine a system of counterweights is provided comprising a counterweight (30, 31) on each crank shaft and a counterweight (32, 33) on each of two auxiliary shafts (26, 28) which are coupled one to each crank shaft for rotation therewith at the same speed as and in the opposite direction, each auxiliary shaft extending parallel with the associated crank shaft on the side thereof remote from the other crank shaft. The counterweight on each crank shaft is so arranged that the centrifugal force of that counterweight in the operation of the machine equal half the force produced by the reciprocating parts coupled to the respective crank shaft, and the counterweight on each auxiliary shaft is so arranged that the horizontal and vertical components of the centrifugal force of that counterweight always act respectively in the opposite direction to and the same direction as the corresponding components of the centrifugal force of the counterweight on the associated crank shaft.

    • To propose a new power generator using the movement of a linear magnetic body and to further improve a conventionally-proposed power generator. A configuration is provided including a tubular frame, a freely-moving magnetic body group that is arranged at the inner side of the tubular frame and that is obtained by integrating two or more magnetic bodies while homopolar bodies are opposed to each other, a coil provided on the tubular frame to have an interval to the outer periphery of the freely-moving magnetic body group and that is configured to alternately have a reversed winding direction, and an output line for outputting electric power from the coil. In a configuration in which the freely-moving magnetic body groups slide relative to each other in a coil axial direction to generate power, a transmission means is provided that is coupled to at least any one tip end of the freely-moving magnetic body group in a substantial axial direction, and power is generated in accordance with the movement of the transmission means.
