摘要： The present invention relates to an interpenetrating polymer network (IPN) material comprising a copolymer of vinylamine-vinylformamide, and a homo-polymer or a copolymer of at least one monomer selected from acrylamide or derivatives thereof, acrylic acid or derivatives thereof, or a mixture thereof forming the IPN material together with the copolymer of vinylamine-vinyl-formamide. The present invention further relates to a process for producing the IPN material, and to use of the IPN material in paper industry.

摘要： In a method for controlling shrinkage of a composite, a dried hydrophobically modified cellulose-based fiber is exposed to a slow acting resin system having a first curing time. An excess amount of the slow acting resin system is removed to separate out the pre-wetted hydrophobically modified cellulose-based fiber. The pre-wetted hydrophobically modified cellulose-based fiber is mixed with a fast acting resin system to form a mixture. The fast acting resin system has a second curing time that is less than the first curing time. The mixture is molded at a predetermined temperature. The fast acting resin system is cured prior to the slow acting resin system, and the slow acting resin system flows into free space within the curing fast acting resin system prior to the slow acting resin system being cured.

摘要： A water-in-oil emulsion is a product form having many practical advantages. A vinylamine-based macromolecule having specific effects as papermaking chemicals and a flocculant is provided in the form of a water-in-oil emulsion having good storage stability and high performance as a flocculation treatment agent. Disclosed is a flocculation treatment agent including a water-in-oil emulsion of a water-soluble macromolecule that is produced by subjecting a water-in-oil emulsion of an aqueous poly-N-vinylcarboxylic acid amide solution coexisting with a polyoxyalkylene alkyl ether to hydrolysis in the presence of an acid or a base. Preferably, the polyoxyalkylene alkyl ether is added before the hydrolysis reaction.

The amount of dissolved inorganic salt is less than 10% by weight of the composition, and the composition is in a stable, pourable, dispersion form.
