A content of the inorganic filler is 45 to 80 mass % with respect to the entirety of the phenolic-resin molding material. A content of the hexamethylene tetramin is 17 to 26 pts.mass with respect to an entirety of the novolac-type phenolic resin.

摘要： An aqueous adhesive composition for treating a reinforcing fiber for bonding to a thermosetting polymer matrix and products made therefrom such as power transmission belts. The adhesive composition includes: water as the solvent or dispersing medium; a polyelectrolyte co-curable with the polymer matrix; a primer material compatible with the fiber and co-curable with the polyelectrolyte; and optionally a rubber curative compatible with the polyelectrolyte and the polymer matrix. A fiber-reinforced, composite polymer system may thus include a thermosetting polymer matrix, a reinforcing fiber embedded therein, and an adhesive composition coating the fiber; the adhesive composition including a polyelectrolyte co-curable with the polymer matrix and a primer material compatible with the fiber and co-curable with the polyelectrolyte. The adhesive composition may include a curative compatible with the polyelectrolyte. In one preferred embodiment, the invention is an aqueous adhesive composition including water, an epoxy resin, a maleated polybutadiene derivative, and a curative.

摘要： The present invention relates to a method for preparing a chitosan-based matrix (4) comprising the following steps: a) two separate chitosan porous layers (1, 2) obtained from lyophilisation of layers of one or more solutions of chitosan are provided, b) the chitosan porous layers of a) are neutralized and washed, c) a face (1a, 2a) of each chitosan porous layer is acidified with an acid, d) a fiber reinforcement member (3) is provided and positioned between the two acidified faces of the two chitosan porous layers, e) the two chitosan porous layers and the fiber reinforcement member are let to dry to obtain a matrix having the fiber reinforcement member embedded therein. The invention also relates to an implant comprising a matrix obtained according to such a method.

摘要： A method of making a fiber comprised of poly(p-phenylene terephthalamide) having monomer groups grafted onto the fiber surface, the method comprising the steps of (i) providing a fiber of poly(p-phenylene terephthalamide) that has been dried to remove adsorbed moisture, (ii) treating the fiber, in a non-polar solvent that will not dissolve the fiber, with a phosphazene base that exhibits a pKa in dimethylsulfoxide of at least 21 so as to generate anions at the amide sites on the surface of the poly(p-phenylene terephthalamide) fiber, (iii) washing the base-activated fiber with an aprotic solvent, (iv) grafting a monomer onto the anion sites so as to introduce reactive functional groups onto the surface of the poly(p-phenylene terephthalamide) fiber, and (v) washing the grafted fiber of step (iv) with a protic solvent to extract any residual base compounds and grafting agents that are unbound to the surface of the fibers.

Furthermore, the abovementioned additive (C) is at least one selected from the group consisting of sodium chloride, potassium chloride, lithium chloride, sodium bromide, potassium bromide, lithium bromide, sodium sulfate, potassium sulfate, lithium sulfate, sodium nitrate, potassium nitrate, and lithium nitrate, or a mixture thereof. The content of the abovementioned additive (C) is 0.2-10 parts by weight based on the aforementioned furan based resin (A) being 100 parts by weight.
