摘要： This document describes a capping-decapping device for screw-capped tubes or vessels. Caps of screw-capped vessels are inserted into an inverted channel. A high-traction surface and a low-friction surface comprise opposite walls. The cap unscrews as it is pushed forward, and is held in the device once unscrewed. The vessel can be recapped by pulling the cap back toward the user. Additional features of the device may be added to improve usability, such as making it easier to open caps of varying diameters or to detect the presence of a cap in the device.

摘要： An apparatus for the sterile filling of containers sterilizes the containers before supplying them, with their caps on, to a substantially airtight chamber for filling. A precision lead screw precisely positions each container under the appropriate capping/uncapping mechanism and the appropriate filling needle. Filling and capping of each container is individually controlled so that each container is filled with a precise amount of liquid, and each cap is applied with the proper torque. The minimized number of components of the system minimizes the potential openings through which unfiltered air may enter the apparatus. Keeping the containers capped except while they're actually being filled minimizes the opportunity for any bacteria or viruses to enter the container.

In this system, when a cap of a container is to be opened, a container body of the container is gripped by a container body holding apparatus to raise the container body upward. Based on the height of the reference surface, the cap is positioned with respect to the cap handling apparatus. Alternatively, a cap receiving member is provided underneath the cap handling apparatus to perform positioning of the cap with respect to the cap handling apparatus.

摘要： An electric bottle or jar lid opener which loosens threaded lids from jars or similar containers having screw-type lids. A base member supports a vertical support which supports a travel arm, which in turn supports an electric motor. The motor 38 is positioned over the base such that a bottle may be manually positioned below the motor, which is provided with a direct drive mechanism which transfers torque through a shaft to a gripping member affixed thereon. The gripping member, made of a non-slip material, such as rubber, is placed onto the lid of a bottle. The travel arm has height adjustment knobs allowing the user to position the opener on various sized bottles. The motor is controlled by a variable power button which torques the gripping member in turn loosening the lid.
