摘要： A delivery system includes a database configured to store information of a customer where the information includes a default payment method, a communication system configured to communicate with an autonomous vehicle and with a device of the customer, where the device includes a display screen having a button to summon an autonomous vehicle, at least one processor, and a memory storing instructions. The instructions, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the delivery system to receive an indication via the communication system that the button on the device of the customer has been clicked, and instruct the autonomous vehicle to travel to a location of the customer.

摘要： A pedestrian protection device for a motor vehicle having a windscreen and an A-pillar extending adjacent a side edge of the windscreen. The protection device comprises a base member securable to the A-pillar of the motor vehicle, and a trim member moveable relative to the base member. A deployment mechanism is operable upon actuation of the device to drive the trim member away from the base member from an initial position in which the trim member is proximal to the base member, to a deployed position in which the trim member is spaced from the base member. The deployment mechanism comprises a plastically deformable member interconnecting the base member and the trim member and which is arranged, in said deployed position of the trim member, to absorb impact energy arising from impact between a pedestrian and the trim member in compression.

摘要： Methods and systems for communicating between autonomous vehicles are described herein. Such communication may be performed for signaling, collision avoidance, path coordination, and/or autonomous control. A computing device may receive data for the same road segment from autonomous vehicles, including (i) an indication of a location within the road segment, and (ii) an indication of a condition of the road segment. The computing device may generate, from the data for the same road segment, an overall indication of the condition of the road segment, which may include a recommendation to vehicles approaching the road segment. Additionally, the computing device may receive a request from a computing device within a vehicle approaching the road segment to display vehicle data. The overall indication for the road segment may then be displayed on a user interface of the computing device.

摘要： The invention relates to protection devices providing operational safety for vehicles, mainly of agricultural purpose. The technical result consists of enhancing the efficiency of safety device through the improvement of operational reliability in frontal and lateral collisions and simplicity of restoring its structural integrity after collision. 摘要： An autonomous vehicle or self-driving vehicle can protect persons from accidents. When the occupants of a vehicle exit the vehicle, those occupants can be endangered by the driving environment. Thus, while the occupants are outside the vehicle, the vehicle can continue to monitor the environment and provide warnings or intercept other vehicles or objects that may impact the occupants. Once all occupants have exited the vehicle, the vehicle's systems can continue to track each person around the vehicle and may engage, in limited maneuvers, to shield the pedestrians around the vehicle.
