摘要： A method for welding profiled elements in plastic material includes: preparing two profiled elements, arranged with respective weld zones facing one another; making a groove corresponding to at least one weld zone of the profiled elements, the grooving performed by a removal operation on a peripheral edge of at least one profiled element; heating the weld zones; coupling the zones to be welded to one another, pressing the profiled elements together to keep the zones to be welded in reciprocal contact. The coupling step includes: a sub-step of melting the zones to be welded into one another in order to define a welding bead; a sub-step of making a containing compartment defined by the groove, the welding bead being made internally of the containing compartment; and the step of arranging a containing presser in correspondence to the containing compartment for preventing exit of the welding bead from the compartment itself.

摘要： An electromagnetic inductive heating device is described for bonding a sheet to anchoring members comprising a conductive base and a thermoplastic resin layer, characterized by bonding the anchoring members to the sheet by heat deposition of the thermoplastic resin layer by heating of the conductive base. The device can include: a heating means for heating the conductive base via the sheet by electromagnetic induction; a temperature measurement means for measuring the temperature of the sheet; and a heating time setting means for setting heating time by the heating means according to the temperature of the sheet. The electromagnetic inductive heating device can bond the anchoring members and the sheet even if there are large temperature changes in a covering surface due to seasons, weather, etc., and can reliably anchor a sheet, uniformly and without unevenness, to all anchoring members even if time is required to lay down the sheet.

摘要： Each platform mounted mold assembly for plastic tubing includes a circuit board containing parameters defining elements of the forming, molding, tipping or welding operation to be undertaken on the tubing. A control unit includes an RF generator for providing the RF energy to effect the forming, molding, tipping or welding process, a source of air under pressure to operate the mechanical elements attendant each mold assembly, various sensors and a multiplex unit. In operation, the control unit serially addresses each of the mold assemblies, senses the parameters attendant the mold and applies the appropriate power level of RF energy for a specific duration and temperature while activating the mechanical aspects of the mold assembly. The mold assemblies may be serially activated through a multiplex unit or in a particular sequence that may be operator controlled.

The method includes positioning a plurality of induction heating coils to define a process area for the thermoplastic component, wherein the plurality of induction heating coils comprises a first set of coils and a second set of coils. The method also includes controlling a supply of electricity provided to the plurality of inductive heating coils to intermittently activate the coils. The intermittent activation is configured to facilitate prevention of electromagnetic interference between adjacent coils.
