摘要： A conveyance portion, a barrier portion, and a path are provided at places of a portion of a screw main body in which a kneading portion is provided. In at least one of the places, an entrance is opened to cause raw materials, conveyance of which is limited by a barrier portion to increase pressure on the raw materials, to flow in. The raw materials flowing in from the entrance flow through the path in the opposite direction to a conveyance direction of the conveyance portion. An exit is opened in an outer circumferential surface of the screw main body at a position outside the conveyance portion in which the entrance is opened.

摘要： A composition comprising a fluid, and a material dispersed in the fluid, the material made up of particles having a complex three dimensional surface area such as a sharp blade-like surface, the particles having an aspect ratio larger than 0.7 for promoting kinetic boundary layer mixing in a non-linear-viscosity zone. The composition may further include an additive dispersed in the fluid. The fluid may be a thermopolymer material. A method of extruding the fluid includes feeding the fluid into an extruder, feeding additives into the extruder, feeding a material into the extruder, passing the material through a mixing zone in the extruder to disperse the material within the fluid wherein the material migrates to a boundary layer of the fluid to promote kinetic mixing of the additives within the fluid, the kinetic mixing taking place in a non-linear viscosity zone.

摘要： According to a process for producing a thermoplastic resin film according to one aspect of the present invention, a molten resin, while the molten resin is discharged from a die and thereafter lands onto a cooling roller, is uniformly heated in a direction of a flow by a heater. Thereby, a thermoplastic resin film having very slight thickness unevenness in a longitudinal direction can be formed. Moreover, according to the process for producing a thermoplastic resin film, heating by the heater can reduce a viscosity of the molten resin at the time of landing, and can suppress generation of retardation at the time of landing.

摘要： To provide a screw for injection molding and a plasticizing device which can ensure downsizing of the plasticizing device by decreasing an L/D ratio as well as keeping a molten resin to be discharged while stably molten and discharged. In the screw 1a, 1b, 1c, the L/D ratio obtained by dividing an effective length L by an external diameter D is 10 or less, and a flight pitch is designed so that a thread length falls within a range of 30 to 300% of a screw with a square pitch having the same diameter and the L/D ratio of 20 to 24. A torpedo plate 13 with a through-hole is installed in the vicinity of the top end of the screw, inside the through-hole arranged is a spindle-shaped torpedo 12 supported by one or more supporting pieces, and between an internal surface of the through-hole and an outer surface of the torpedo 12, formed is a path 17 of plasticized resin material.

摘要： A treatment material agitating and processing apparatus comprises a casing (1) having a supply inlet (13) and a delivery outlet (12) provided therein, an agitator (2) of a screw form arranged to extend lengthwise in the casing (1), and a driving mechanism (3) for driving the agitator (2) to rotate in the casing (1). The agitator (2) repeats a given pattern of its forward and backward rotating actions thus to agitate and convey the treatment material (A) throughout the casing (1). Accordingly, while the duration of the treatment material (A) staying in the casing is favorably determined by the pattern of the forward and backward rotating actions of the agitator (2), the agitated effect of the treatment material (A) can be preset to a desired level by adjusting the rotating speed of the agitator (2).

摘要： Single or multiple colorants are infused into a thermoplastic material during melt processing to form preforms and plastic containers exhibiting a marbleized or swirl-type pattern. A base resin and colorant may be fed into an extruder having an extrusion screw and/or barrel modified in a manner to cause incomplete and non-uniform mixing. The modifications may include notches in some of the flights along the extrusion screw, a reduction in the depth or omission of some of the flights, a reduction in diameter of the extrusion screw, or the provision of a marbleizing torpedo near the discharge nozzle. Other techniques include introducing the colorant into vents present along the barrel, using a barrier screw to keep the components separate along the length of the barrel, using a high pressure pump for introducing the colorant near the discharge nozzle, or using multi-material co-injection techniques for co-injecting the base resin and colorant.
